Anyone hear Tulsi on Rogan?
She sounds like a completely sensible human being.
So yeah, zero chance she gets the nomination.
Buttigieg Rips Fox News Live On-air, Town Hall Ends With 'Surprising' Standing Ovation
'There is a reason why anyone has to swallow hard and think twice about participating in this media ecosystem,' Mayor Pete Buttigieg said during his Sunday townhall appearance

also introduced (and passed) 'anti-lynching' bill after jussie smullet incident
Even if Biden were to drop out of the race for some reason, Buttigieg is now dead in the water for the top spot on the Dem ticket.

I’ll say it again... The peasants are coming with their pitchforks.

Van Jones re-interviews the Trumball County, Ohio family who all voted for GOP presidential candidate for first time in 2016. Trumball County is where the soon-to-shuttered Lordstown GM plant is located.
Cliffs: The father isn’t voting for Trump in 2020; the mother wanted to vote for Joe Biden in 2016, is again leaning toward him in this election cycle; The only one of them who who indicates that he is considering voting for Trump again is the son who says that he wants Bernie instead of Biden.

Trump and the GOP are not helping middle class people who live in the midwest? I'm shocked!!
Who would have ever thought that Trump would back the rich and fuck the poor/middle class...
PANDER MUCH??? What a trash bag crew to pick from
Capitalism has completely destroyed middle america. Millions of american jobs lost to cheap labor. Capitalism needs cheap non union labor to survive. Only Communism can now save the rust belt.
America needs a thinker like Hegel but is stuck with the baboon trump.
If you can get through this without falling in love w/ Tulsi Gabbard then I will give you $2,000:

Just saw her live in NYC. Huge crowds, had to add second event. Growing!
Made in America (*actually Mexico, India, Vietnam, China, and anywhere else that can make it cheap)
Plus Trump outsources his political campaign to Russia.

Diggydow is onto Tulsi Gabbard.
I have never donated to a Presidential candidate but did ship to her. I have never registered as a democrat either.
A military veteran who is anti military industrial $ and the thank you for your service nonsense. Scoffs at the obsession with Trump and the Mueller infotainment.
A Samoan Hindu women. She comes with attitude.
It’s incredible to consider that she was like 10 years old when Papa Bush ramped up the fraud in the Middle East.
Year after fucking year. I like the draft idea to focus people but no politician can sell it and live.
Maybe we need diggy to move her into his podcast as a democratic splinter group.
I hope you’re right. However, a 70 year old establishment Democrat is not the future or the answer.
Trump may be a blessing that stirs a revolution. Let us not suffer this political corruption in vain by anointing another corrupt old women.
Warren is a showman.
What I also like about Tulsi Gabbard:
- never caters - at all - to PC bullshit, nor identity politics
- has a tell where she laughs when she gets annoyed/angry (at 5:10): https://youtu.be/8w1zf3YyXRI?t=275
- garners huge bipartisan support b/c she never talks down to Trump supporters
Joe Biden met a 13-year-old girl before a campaign event and told her brothers to 'keep the guys away from her'

Secretly recorded video footage of Biden just before saying this?
There's so much talk about how Trump has no chance in 2020.
Waaaaaaaay too early to talk about that now.
A lot of it depends on who is opponent turns out to be, and the way the two campaigns are run.
This is impossible to determine. Hypothetical polls right now of Trump versus the leading Democratic candidates are also meaningless, because the general election campaign season has yet to begin.
This is why I laugh at Bernie supporters who claim he would have beaten Trump in 2016. Bernie hasn't had to face tough attacks against him. Hillary's (successful) strategy against him in 2016 was to mostly ignore him, and passive-aggressively screw him by cheating in debates. If Bernie had to face the constant barrage of direct criticism and scrutiny in a general election, there's a good chance he wouldn't have fared well.
For this reason, we cannot say how well the various Democratic candidates would do against Trump, or what might be unearthed about them once general election season were to start.
The entire Democratic field is flawed in one way or another. There is no Barack Obama for them this time.
Will one of these bastards become President?

The Dems could easily lose to Donald Trump if they ignore the wisdom spoken by the Democratic Congressmember featured in this vid.

Any open socialist is going to get crushed in the general election for President.
I welcome any socialist opponent to step up to the plate against Trump. That's where he has the best shot.
Socialism does not play well to swing voters.
The democrats will have their royal rumble over the next year, then a hero will emerge and go into battle against Trump.
Remember, the person with the least amount of votes becomes President.

Still hanging on to the tired old story about the “swing” voter? You obviously didn’t watch the vid I just posted above, in which the self-identified “socialist” interviewed on MSNBC discussed how he won a multi-decade-GOP-held congressional seat by galvanizing the “disillusioned” who hadn’t voted for a long time because both major parties were neglecting their needs.
But keep convincing yourself that the “swing” voters won’t vote for “socialists”. ‘Cause you did such a great job in the two national elections predicting (1) who the GOP would nominate for president for the 2016 race, and (2) how the Dems would flop by hitching their wagon to “socialists” like AOC. That’ll make it easier for the GOP to get blindsided by the continued progressive blue wave.
Way easier for a candidate to do in a local district than in a Presidential election.
In fact, you mentioned this guy won because he convinced former non-voters to support him because the major parties were neglecting them. That can play really well when you aim properly at specific local voters with specific issues, but would never work in a Presidential election.
Apples and oranges.
Socialism is still a bad word to most swing voters. It means "Take away what we worked hard to earn and give it to freeloaders" to most of these people.
They will lose more swing voters than they gain by running a socialist out there.
But by all means, please, I hope the Democratic Party does just that.
This is going to go over really well in forthcoming Democratic presidential candidate debates, n’est-ce pas?

Wondering whether Trump is going to regret calling Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas”. ‘Cause she could very well take the majority of Americans on a voting warpath and unseat The Bigot King from his presidential throne.
Trump pollster predicts Warren will be Dem front-runner by fall
https://www.politico.com/story/2019/...n-poll-1374052
Quote:
President Donald Trump’s pollster on Thursday put in writing his prediction that Sen. Elizabeth Warren would soon lead the Democratic primary field, estimating that her rise, coinciding with former Vice President Joe Biden's fall, would be cemented by October.
GOP strategist Ward Baker on Thursday commented on a video of Biden refusing to apologize for comments touting his past ability to work with segregationist senators to get things done in the chamber. "By October he will be #3 in polls," he tweeted. "Just give it time."
...
The former vice president has led in nearly every primary poll since jumping into the race this spring. But Biden’s support may be facing its first real test, as his opponents have seized on a number of stumbles by the former veep after the segregationist comments and his recent reversal on public funding for abortion.
That’s mixed news for Fabrizio and Trump — internal polling conducted by Trump’s campaign several months ago found Biden leading the president in head-to-head matchups in several key states, and public polls in critical states have signaled danger for the president as well. While the campaign let several pollsters go after the internal numbers leaked, Fabrizio was not included in the purge.
But the campaign has recently begun to focus its efforts on Warren as well, conceding that there’s much about the Massachusetts senator that could cut into Trump’s populist message, and that her discipline as a candidate could be a major boon to her chances. Others in Trump world have argued that the campaign should hold off on attacking Warren just yet, maintaining that her liberal policies would make her an easier target in the general election.
Warren has mounted a quiet and steady rise in the polls throughout the spring, crisscrossing the country and touting her massive trove of policy proposals as a counter to Trump. In two recent polls in the early voting states of Nevada and California, Warren leapfrogged Sanders for second place behind Biden. And the Democratic establishment has also begun to signal a level of comfort with Warren as the potential nominee.
Are you willing to escrow money with Druff on this statement if she wins the nomination? She only needs to win the same number of states as Hillary plus 3 to beat Trump. That would be 24 if you count the District of Columbia.
So, the bet would be whoever is closer to the actual number of states she wins if she goes up against Trump in the general election, you at 48, and me at 24. Deal?
Why wouldn't he have money? Because he drives a truck? Put your money where your mouth is of shut it
