It appears the local police keep tabs on the active members of the group, and they don't know him. I would guess at most he showed up and "trained" with them a couple times, but at no point was he ever an active member.
I am sure CNN and the NYT will eventually get around to clarifying this situation. But they aren't in any hurry. The longer they can push the hate narrative, and make all the rest of us hate each other that much more, the happier they are.
By the loose definition of "hate" you are using there are probably 100 million people in the United States that hate someone else. So yes, he would fit in that group. I know a lot of people that have used derogatory racial slurs at some point in their life, so if that makes you a "hater" then sure he hated along with about 100 million other people.
I know he certainly did not appear to be guided by any ideology of hating black or Muslims when he shot indiscriminately into a crowd of mostly white people killing 15 people, none of whom appear to be black or Muslim.
And if you want to play the "Trump Supporter" game, the recent President who has the most murderers who "supported" them was probably Barrack Obama. So if you want to blame a President for the crimes their "supporters" did it looks like President Obama needs to be held a lot more accountable for all the murders people who voted for him or otherwise "supported" him have committed in the last 10 or so years.
Of course this narrative is nonsense, just like it is nonsense to try to politicize this as some sort of referendum on Trump or Trump supporters, and it is nonsense to claim he was motivated by an alt right ideology.
You do realize that if you ever became a mass murder of notoriety, regardless of your actual motives for murder, the ADL would do a little digging and see that you frequented this site, and see some of the shit posted on this site, and they would make a statement that you were an "active member of an alt right website." That is how this game is played.
I just checked in, but im trying to figure out where you're going with this. The left still holds the high score on gun deaths, and its not. even. close. So please enlighten me how these supposed newly groomed "Trump supporters" are all of the sudden tipping the scales?
I'm gonna wait and see but if it turns out that the dropout who shot up his high school actually went to McDonald's that day as I've read I'm never gonna eat McDonald's again and that's just another drop in the "everyone who eats McDonald's is a racist" bucket that's nearly spilling over
Are you counting Union soldiers in the Civil War as leftists? Murders by white supremacists went up over 150% between 2016 and 2017.

I don't accept your (or the ADL or the SPLC) definition of "alt-right." Your definition of alt-right would probably encapsulate about 100 million people in this country. I do believe he did many thing that someone with severe mental health issues does, and his political orientation had little impact on his decision to carry out this horrific crime, and no impact on who he chose to shoot.
Like I said before, using the loose definition of alt-right the ADL uses, you are a member of the alt-right for being an active participant on this message board.
Are you really bringing up a civil war from 150 years ago? I thought you were better than this.
No, im not counting the civil war lol. That relic shouldnt even be in the convo, but that was a nice reach.
Hey, if all of those "right wing killers" that the left keeps mentioning would be actually manifesting, you wouldnt need to cite civil war stats. But the fact remains as i have stated.
And this is coming from a Libertarian
Also, there is a reason they are throwing out percentages, instead of numbers. If you read further the numbers are so low you see how absurd all the fear mongering over the alt-right really is. That 150% increase you are talking about is an increase up to 20 total deaths. Even by their loose definition of alt right, more people were probably killed by lightning than by the alt right in 2017.
Of course by mislabeling this as an alt-right killing the ADL is off to a good start for this year in showing how deadly the alt-right is. I mean, if some Muslim guy with mental health issues who may have done some jihadist training at some point or read some ISIS shit on the internet snapped and started shooting up his own mosque with no apparent political motive would it be considered Islamic terrorism? Serious question, because that pretty much is the justification for calling this alt-right.
Next school shooting I promise just to wait for the Anthony 2b videos. The guy is just so fucking good.

Bonus coverage of them bringing traumatized kids right back to the fucking crime scene the very next day to do interviews. Pretty sure that's new.

Young Sheboon is probably the best crisis actor I've ever seen. Check out the way she handles the opening question. There is no way in hell they would even try the "feign ignorance of your friends fate" routine on like a Chris Hurst or Gene Rosen... or even probably Johnny Langendorf for that matter. Props to this chick.
Im tired and going to get some z's after i post this disgusting garbage.
THIS is part of the problem these days. While i wonder why people feel the need to post on social media when they are in the middle of possibly dying, the truly disgusting part of it is the media trying to get a story:
Local law enforcement: No ties between militia and Florida high school shooter

4chan duped you nerds, again.
(((obviously)))
Ok I will talk about the boring stuff everyone else is talking about in this post.
Republicans are getting way way too cocky about the MSM taking back all that white nationalist stuff they had tied to Cruz. They are all lulzing and saying things like "of course someone named cruz can't be a white nationalst." They are just way too happy for this to actually hold for them
1. His instagram accounts still happened.
2. The kid looks 100 percent white.
3. The kid was adopted
4. The third and accepted spelling of his name is Nikolas which is not the Latino/Hispanic spelling of that name.
5. Anytime I've seen a group of people get this cocky this early on it switches back at least one more time.
I personally don't identify with either side of the aisle so maybe that is why I can't quite grasp the concept of how they figure that one single kid represents all of whichever side of the aisle regardless of what he does. But I still sometimes accidentally go to sites that used to be conspiracy sites that are now full blown Trump official fan sites and those guys are just celebrating way too hard for this to not turn back. It's ridiculous to me that they claim a moral superiority but at the same time are still basically gaslighting that poor Latino looking kid with the hammer and sickle t shirt as if that's him, even after so many pictures of the actual shooter exist and they look nothing alike. It's gonna be funny to see what happens if they find his biological parents to be white people.

totally normal behavior for children, nothing at all to see here.
Turning these mass shootings into a political discussion is why things will NEVER, EVER, EVER change in the USA. If 1 side said water was wet the other would have to disagree out of habit & therefore nothing will ever be accomplished.
Of course the USA is the only country in the world that has a history of violence to overcome & is the reason nothing can be done according to Druff.
Try stuffing another 260,000,000 into Canada and we will have similar issues. Guns or no guns.
I think people with overwhelming feeling of hopelessness and dread, with no future in sight, will lash out with violence to whom ever they blame for there issues, without a thought of concequence of his actions.
He,s damaged goods put him down, I don’t understand why they didn’t just shoot him when they found him. Could have saved some time and money, heartache.
So much for the white supremacist angle, just your garden variety adopted, autistic, orphaned, non GED, non-driver's license having 19 year old, animal abusing, Dollar Store employee.
Guessing that life didn't leave much time for his friend's mom to drop him off at Klan rallies.

Where ya at DirtyB?
Just eyeballing that chart it appears about 60% of mass shootings were perpetuated by white people, who were a greater % of the population through this period. So this graph just reinforces what we all know anyways. The whole narrative the MSM is peddling that mass shootings is a “white man” problem is completely false.
Saying instead it is an American problem that transcends racial identity and ideology is very fair and accurate.
This will happen before Congress does anything.
Republicans now believe that the only way to prevent more violence and school shootings is to have even more weapons in school.
Is your 10 year old son qualified to shoot an AR-15 or how about an M-16 machine gun?
And don't forget to arm the teachers with UZI's and grenades.

so apparently the police visited him 30+ times and the FBI received detailed info that this guy was a threat but did absolutely nothing.
i'm sorry but isn't that enough to go on to get a court to commit him or take away his guns?
the FBI shares some of the blame here
