From beggar, to traveling across country to play in a poker tournament. Anyway you slice it, that's a bad look IMO

I thought the same thing. You just raked a few thousand on this site and you announce you are going to Vegas in a few months to gamble? Really I mean one day you are laying on the floor destitute pimping a donation website, and a mere two months later you are scouting Expedia for flights to the Flamingo to gamble.

At the end of the day as long as the donators don't care, than all is good I guess. I donated nothing.

There is like 0 chance I will be able to make the trip. but I damn sure would like to. The donated money has been spent on bills. if I am able to make the trip I would be staked. I just hope I am physically able to do so if the opportunity presents itself.

Thanks. I just want to try to get back to being as normal as possible. If I didn't have this Stroke then This is a trip I would make without a doubt.

It looks as if this trip just might happen. I have a backer. just need to come up with the flight and Hotel $$$$$. I am getting a lil bit excited as my brother and sister are willing to help with that!
