It shows that he was in town firing like a fool immediately after the offenses that he is charged with are alleged to have occurred, both times. And that he left town with a bunch of losing tickets.

You left out, he left town with a bunch of losing tickets......AND not a lot of cash. If he did have cash......it should be going to either the bankruptcy estate or the IRS? One thing I would like to clarify....I do not believe that these tickets or the scenario that VPPLayer has posited make Falcone an addicted gambler......knowing this fellow.....I am sure there was more going on.....showing somebody tickets like that can be used by him to establish creds as a big solvent gambler.....his thing is not the betting....his thing is building up confidence in enough marks to keep funding the finding of new marks. Those tickets may look like sorry losers, but he knows how to even use those to turn them into new money. I am sure they were props in a show that was designed to collect the price of admission later on.
Besides being AKA Mike Esposito he also had this ID in his property. I redacted part of it just in case he took someones identity, But I couldn't find a Mike Vitale matching this DOB. He did seem to prefer Mike as a first name alias.
Dear Mr. Dan Druff,
it occurs to me, since your site is called Poker Fraud Alert, that maybe you should add another tab to the tabs above. What I am thinking is needed is a Scammer Photo Gallery. Since it is obvious that these threads have eliminated the ability of a guy like Falcone to operate under his own name, we know he can just fine other names like Mike Esposito or Mike Vitale. Well, now that we have all these photos of him, maybe they should go into a gallery...this way, if somebody wants to find "photos of known scammers" -- they can google accordingly and it is a way to find a scammer without knowing what name to look up.
What do you think?
Also, to Mr. VP Player,
I understand that Falcone now has much longer hair than is shown in any of these photos you have displayed here. Am wondering if there are any other photos of him in his other guises?
Sincerely,
Lurker1998
I said I would get back to this group with more information about out Peter experience and since speaking with Betsy last night (as I believe some of you recently have) - I feel better about sharing some of the details now. First of all, let me start by saying that we (me, my husband and family) were with Peter this past March when he placed some of the Binion and Golden Nugget bets shown in the tickets in previous posts... except we didn't know him as Peter Falcone - he told us his name was Peter Serrano - he even had a license which he stragetically flashed to prove it. Our hope is that others will come to realize how Peter operates and "friends" strangers and avoid him at ALL costs. How We Met: Peter must have been watching us in the casino from afar. One morning, we were all in the high roller section talking about the basketball tournament we were in Vegas to watch, who we were going to bet, etc... Peter came over and sat close to us and began playing video poker (Jacks or Better) and was clearly flashing a wad of cash. I noticed him but no one else did. After awhile, everyone split up and I remained behind to play my slot machine - Peter was still playing video poker. It didn't take him long to begin talking to me about betting, the sports book, odds of winning, etc.... Since I'm not a gambler, I didn't really know what he was talking about so I called over my brother and husband. We all got to talking and it wasn't long before Peter started telling us all about the house he lives in on the beach in Malibut (clearly was Betsy's house, not his), how he is a professional gambler who travels from Malibu to Vegas every weekend to place bets, how he has 5 or 6 employees who act as "runners" for him - each owning a section of casinos on the strip, etc... He runs upstairs to his room (so he said) and came down with losing tickets to show us 'how serious a gambler he really is' - in fact, one of the losing tickets for like $22k is the same ticket shown in the previous posts. We aren't really impressed but we do find him interesting and high energy and funny so we invite him to a party we were having that evening in our suite and he shows up. Halfway through the party, we all decide to go ziplining down Fremont Avenue and, against is wishes, he joined us. The line to ziplining was around the corner so out of nowhere, Peter "buys" a place for us on line by giving two girls $300 to get off line and give us their place - and they did. So we all ziplined together, went back to hang out at the suite and talk, etc... He seemed like a lot of fun. He also ordered a stretch limo for a couple he just met thru us to take them back to their hotel that night. He later gave them front row seats to a sold-out show (Jersey Boys). My father also met Peter that night and told us "watch out for that guy - no one is that nice for no reason". Another family friend who met Peter that night as well, who is also an attorney, told us to watch out for him. The next day, Peter wanted to take us all to dinner at a really expensive restaurant on the strip. We told him no, we didn't have time given the basketball game we were heading to so instead we all had dinner together at the Nugget - our treat. During dinner, I started asking him a lot of questions about his business (I often interview people with my work) - I asked him if he had a 401k program, how he pays his employees (he said he finds guys who 1) are married and 2) have kids in school because if he is going to hand over $100k to a runner, he needs to know they aren't going to get up and move to mexico with his money - AND if he has kids in school, etc. he is less likely to leave town. He said he pays his runners @ $75-100k a year plus 1-2% commission on the bets (he said he needed to do this given some legal tax laws that require the runners to be part-owners of his company which, in turn, would legally allow them to bet on his behalf).
The entire time we were in Vegas with Peter, he was constantly on his cell phone - constantly. He said he was "working" and had to constantly be in touch with "his contacts" so he could always understand the lines, when the lines change, etc... It also seemed like everyone knew him in the Nugget sports book, Binions, etc... Peter told us he was "a legend in Vegas, just like a rock star, everyone knows him, etc..." - he even told us he was banned from The Mirage for winning so much in Poker tournaments. I mean, it went on and on and on. He said he went to college at Syracuse but that he dropped out in his junior year after visiting Vegas and realizing he was a sevant of sorts and just had a natural knack for numbers.
So that's how we came to meet Peter Falcone. From that weekend on, we got closer and closer. The relationship between me, my husband, and Peter grew over the next few months (from March thu May). There are SO MANY MORE details to share - I just don't know if any of you care to hear them all - ? I don't want to take up too much real estate on this blog so let me know if you want more. Highlights include: his relationship with Billy Walters, stock market investments, a Reno business Peter wanted to partner on which would require a minimum of $100k but would yield a minimum monthly salary of $35k to start, dinner in NYC - he even had my brother quitting his stable job with benefits to "become a runner in Reno", an all-expenses paid trip to the penthouse suite at Aria - and on and on..... In fact, Peter has continued to call us - up until just one week ago - while in prison. He told us he was "in Rome doing some special work for Billy Walters" - all the while we KNEW he was IN PRISON but never let on - in fact, he still doesn't know we know. The only way we found out about his arrest was through Betsy's attorney friend who called to warn us not to give Peter any money and that he was just arrested, etc... THANK GOD because we were just 1 week away from handing over the money.
OK - that's all for now - let me know if you have any questions and/or would like more information.
More information please... The maximum if you don't mind... and thank you for sharing!!!
More please, I had wanted to post about him using a cellphone in the county lock-up but I didn't want to get in the way of any traps being laid. Are there any chances of charges being filed from his attempted larceny from you?
And this part is for the person accessing Petey's email account and sending out emails on his behalf for the purpose of conning more people, you're next on my list, there will be a cell waiting for you, it's called being an accessory.
Nonameplease if you could PM me, I would love to get the IP address on any emails you have received from him after the time of his arrest.
Tell us everything you know. Many people want to hear more about Pete. What were you going to give him money for? Etc. Did he ever have anybody else with him?
Keep going whenever you have the time. Very interesting, and I'm glad you and your husband dodged that particular bullet. How much money would you estimate he spent trying to impress you and get his hands on yours? What is it that makes him successful in your opinion? He must be totally disarming and convincing for you to disregard your father and an attorney's opinion of him.
tell everything please, dont worry about taking up too much internet real estate if you have sweet pete falcone scam tactics to share
Hi again. For your information – below are different excerpts from recent emails sent to us by Peter – some sent to us even when he was IN JAIL. You will get a sense of how he operates, how he attempts to explain away what he does and make it sound like it’s on the up and up, and how he dangles the idea of making loads and loads of cash. You will also see Peter referring to working for Billy Walters, his fake trips to Costa Rica, the UK, and Italy. You will also see how he uses our personal situation to connect deeper with his marks – my husband’s father had just suffered a massive heart attack as you will see Peter reference that over and over again. All he really wanted, besides our cash, was our list of contacts – our Rolodex. You’ll see how often he refers to it. Read along and let me know if you have any questions or thoughts. In the meantime, I will get back to telling more of our experience and answering questions. I have **** out most names to protect our privacy. Thx.
April 17 – Peter discussing “Reno Business / Partnership” and his extreme desire to get us to hand over our “Rolodex of contacts” to him so we can “ask others to use a certain bookkeeper when betting” – I kept calling it a pyramid scheme which didn’t feel right. We never gave Peter anything.
Texted earlier to discuss next week, have not heard back. You may be drowning sorrows over mets loss. I am drowning sorrows over dodgers two run homer in eighth LOL ..god they are tough right now. We do need to coordinate trip in next day so I can coordinate when I will be where with you as well as the rest of my work. When I texted asking if you and **** would be free to go to Vegas may 5th weekend my reasoning is if you guys are available we could do two separate trips in two weeks that would cover everything you need to see and do. The first trip just you, the second with ****. I am not sure if you want to scalp baseball, NBA and NHL when you are in Reno the week of the 23rd. If you do you will do Reno for 4 days before LA, if not then reno will only be two days, then LA. Then depending on my schedule we will get to Vegas for a day or two before your trip ends. The perfect 2 weeks for me is this....
Apr 23 Reno
Scalp baseball and hockey ( games and series when applicable) 24/25/26th
27th bet baseball, hockey, NBA lines for first games and series then come to LA
28th in LA we settle up our scalps and stay in LA to 30th then you head home
Weekend of may 4th you and **** come out Friday night. I will comp trip of course.
You scalp all three sports on days you are in vegas and you meet everyone in my operation.
Return home Sunday/Monday/ or Tuesday night from Vegas whichever day you have to go back. when you get home you will have a very strong profit, some first hand experience and you can attack Rolodex with some experience under your belt.
If you were to follow this exact map for the 2 weeks it's ideal because week one if you were to go to Reno and scalp with all the betting options the week of 23rd to 27th provides you would conservatively make 25% profit off your capital and conceivably on the high side 35%. The 2nd week the numbers in Vegas would be comparable while you and **** come out. These are the two busiest weeks of summer, all NBA playoffs going, four hockey series, and baseball getting into gear. You would make a huge return on your capital, I would guess about 60% If you and ***** stay in Vegas fri to Monday night. 50% is certain. Equally important is you will have a very good handle on everything and when you got home we would have to decide what we are going to do regarding Reno. If you want to go part time for now, talk to ****, any other ideas etc etc. Also when you attack your Rolodex you will have first handle knowledge and experience to relay to the people you speak about finding us some connections. I still say that will be a HUGE revenue stream in the very near future. We are actually losing valuable baseball time right now but I think it would be absolutely perfect if you could actually have real tangible results to discuss with your circle of friends when you do discuss this with them. Saying you went to Reno apr 23rd with 100k and by may 6th had 155k without ever making a wager involving risk would be very revealing to your friends. Far more tangible then just a high roller trip to Vegas or staying at a friends house in Malibu. These type of things are run of the mill occurrences to the type of people you know.
April 20
You are finished with your meeting on may 1 and coincidentally it's also the day we get our news on GMCR. If you wanted to make a trip to Reno may 2nd or 3rd To check out the city and the sportsbooks. Scalp games through the weekend and then head to LA Monday morning. We could spend two days in LA together, then go to Vegas for the weekend. If she can have **** come out to meet us in vegas, you could scalp some more, and then Monday or sunday night head home with ****. The bad news is you would be gone like twelve days, the good news is you would make some serious money, see both parts of my operation, LA and Vegas, check out Reno and scalp games, and when you got home you would have a far greater understanding of the mechanics behind scalping as well as a made a nice chunk of change on your money (20-30%) without ANY risk whatsoever. This is so critical to when you speak to the people in your circle of friends. You have very very little understanding of the lines, and what I actually do, it may be hard to convey it to the people you speak to without having a little experience and some great results to relay to your people. Let me give you an example, just today, the pistons game i typed 187 not 197 by mistake. There is not a place in the entire world that could ever have line off even five points never mind ten, that you didnt realize that was a typo illustrates how new you are to what i do and to gambling on sports in general. May 3rd week is not as strong as next week, but next week seems impossible at this late date. You have said to me you are concerned that you may not bring value to this partnership. My answer from the beginning was you are making a huge mistake underestimating the potential connections you may have at your fingertips. My fear is if you begin to start contacting people in your universe and have a very poor understanding of what I do and how I do it we will lose many lucrative opportunities. That is why I am glad you have reached out to no one yet. Until you have a more firm grasp of my work I don't want you to pursue anything.
As I mentioned before next week is ideal but i think it's too late at this point. Would may 2nd or 3rd work for you and If so we should try and iron out details by mon/tues of next week. If you can swing it I will 100% be available to you from the day you get to LA to the day you head home from Vegas the next week. I could even come meet you in Reno the first day or two and show you around some if you want me to, we could meet up again in LA after the weekend.

Hello my friend! I was trying to cal you a few hours ago, but I got your voice mail instead. I have had horrible phone luck this past week with you. I was so happy to hear that your dad continues to improve. God willing, he will progress a little bit at a time and in the span of a few weeks or months, you will have your dad back 100%. It sounds like bit by bit our prayers are being answered.
We have so much catching up to do. My trip to Costa Rica has been something I have been trying to coordinate for a month, so when a small window appeared, I jumped through it. The trip was for both Billy and me and he also wants me to hit London and Italy as well. I will get to that shortly. How are you and *** doing? Nothing would heal your dad better than another grandchild to enhance his life. I am sure that your mother is having a really difficult Mother's Day and any positive news on the baby front would be wonderful.
Like I said, we have so many things to talk about. First, with regard to TopBet, I did not lock you out of your account as I mentioned on a voice mail. I would never ever do that without discussing it with you first (zero chance). I had previously spoken to you on the phone and on an email and told you I would scalp you out of TopBet. As you know, that means grab both sides. TopBet is getting what I perceive to be the weaker side. I, of course, could be wrong. Monday before my trip was the last day I even looked at your account. I scalped out the Spurs total and the Clippers total. The lost end was exactly 1100, but we have 1070 out in cash. Thirty was lost in juice, but 1070 I have. The reason I did it in small 200 and 300 dollar increments was, if we were wrong on what side we bet, the TopBet account balance could accidentally get really high. God forbid TopBet got to 5,000 + and then we would have more liability if the things they say about TopBet are true and they don't pay their customers.
I put a call in on Kidd Rock. As you know, I have been hard to reach for the last few days, but I'm sure it will be no problem. I will get all of the information this week. Let me know if my status with Zagg should change. It has dropped 1.50 since the purchase, so let me know if I should hold, sell, or buy more. I have 7,500 shares at 12.56.
My playoff series ended really well. The NBA was 3-1, the only loser being the Nuggets. I did sell half of my profit on the Clippers before game 7. Hockey was even better, 3-0 with two underdogs and I did not hedge a cent. In the next round I have Oklahoma City in NBA and Rangers in Hockey.
You mentioned that I did not seem like myself when I called. Your observation was correct. I have tons of work to do and I really need to start eating better and exercising a lot more. Billy has asked me to take a trip to Italy and England to open and fund accounts at certain sportsbooks in Europe. I also will be researching a few other books to see if they are worth funding. I am going with an employee of Billy's who is an Irish national. He can have accounts opened in his name without difficulty. I am also meeting others oversees on Billy's behalf. He is having a tough MLB season with regard to betting limits and access, so we are making a bold move to expand. The entire trip is extremely hush hush, and only a few people know about it. It is a huge opportunity and I will have a small piece of equity in the new accounts. The timing with respect to our plans in Reno and San Fransisco is horrible, but I have no control over that.
You mentioned that you wanted to get out West as early as next week. That, of course, would be great, but I want to know your take on things if I am gone until early to mid-June. Should we wait entirely? Should we do a two week run before your Kidd Rock show? That way you can make $15,000. and we could see if it's feasible with the 8 hour time difference to work day to day before I return home. Should we just do one week before Kidd Rock as a trial run? Like I said, all of this needs to be discussed. I will be leaving in the next 36 to 48 hours and I will make sure that we speak before then. If you have time tonight, please shoot me an email and let me know what you think. I really hope your dad continues to improve and that everyone is doing as well as can be expected. I will keep praying about it.
All the best,
Peter

Hello my friend! I'm so glad to hear your dad is doing so well--a true miracle! You are right, we have been missing each other constantly on the phone. My service in Costa Rica was virtually nonexistent. I would get my texts every few hours in bunches. I am in Rome settling in. My host, who is also my driver, speaks perfect English, so my poor language skills won't hurt me. My Italian should be much better--I am Italian for goodness sakes! How are you and **** doing? Any good news to report? Send her my regards. I too miss our daily talks bro. I'm so glad the news is so much brighter on your dad's end.
I'm going to start handicapping again for Saturday, after I'm a little more settled in. Get your TopBet account handled and I will start sending you the plays again Friday night. Yes I do have $1,070. that is yours from the Monday scalps. I hope to get you out of TopBet completely in the next few weeks. Let me know the status of that account next time you email me. Also, just for kicks, ask them why they turned off your account in the first place. It doesn't make any sense. Also, please do me a favor when I send you the plays, acknowledge the emails. I am using an email proxy, so I want to make sure I'm not having difficulty. So when I send you the plays as of Saturday, just send me an email that you got the plays so I can make sure that the proxy is working. ****, I really look forward to catching up and I am going to try to call you tomorrow. Have a great, great day, and again, I hope everything's good bro. Chow.
Peter
No, GMCR was a stock my husband was following. We gave Peter advice on investing his money. Who knows if he ever invested a single dollar in the end - there's no way for us to tell.... But if he had followed our advice, we made him over $50k in one stock (GMCR). Peter used to send my husband ALL of his bets for the day and my husband would openly track them for Peter - how much he lost, how much he made, etc... this gave us a better idea of how Peter was gambling and how successful he was. We were open about wanting to see at least one month's worth of bets and how Peter would end up at the end. We have it in an excel spreadsheet. he said he needed to win at least 51% of his bets in order to make money.... I don't know. He would also send us "Billy's Bets" - no joke. A list of all the bets Billy would be making and then what Peter would make. Celarly there is no Billy's Bets - only in Peter's mind. It's all so sick. But let me tell you this: PETER NEVER FALTERS FOR A SECOND. This guy is ON ON ON 24/7/365. He invests the time, attention and energy to make you feel number one. He comes across as very genuine, sincere, and "open" - like he has nothing to hide from anyone.
