Wrong again Einstein. While each team does participate in 162 games and there are 30 teams in the league that doesn’t mean you multiply 162 x 30. This is because…Mr Mathematician…two teams participate in each game. So every game that is played counts towards two different teams’ 162.
So the correct answer in terms of actual games played is 2,430.
