Hey, MJLips- make yourself useful and charm this guy into spending a little time with me.
I doubt Kenneth is keen on the usage of his image, maybe I'll send these screenshots to him, obviously i will explain the context to him and that he was referred too as a "n-word"...
Is the media really trying to manufacture a scandal over an alleged statutory rape incident that happened 40 years ago. Of course if you just read the headlines you would think the incident happened yesterday. The headlines of course are intentionally opaque about the actual details.
LOL.
Just when you think the media can't sink to a new low.
Fair enough. It just feels real dirty. Guys is running for office and then right before election a story surfaces of events that may have happened 40 years ago. I just don't trust our media at all. They are corrupt and have way too much of an agenda and that isn't a good thing, whatever side you are on IMO.
I don't give a shit about Moore one way or another. If he committed sex crimes we should have been made aware of it whenever the media found out. I don't like them sitting on it and waiting till right before an election. It just shows how they have an agenda and can't be trusted at all.
Hong,
I am not going to argue with you about what is right or wrong. You are an partisan tribal ideologue. Whatever your tribe does is right, and whatever the other tribe does is wrong. It is that simple for you.
So what is the point with arguing with someone who thinks like that? Same thing arguing with Mint or Tyde on the other side.
You've never heard of an October Surprise? This is as old as the press itself.
The motives shouldn't matter. When Wikileaks was dropping bombshells on the DNC, liberals frothed at the mouth about how the leaks were selective and politically motivated. As if we should just ignore it and give everyone a pass. Facts are facts, no matter what agenda the messenger has.
Anyway, it's pretty weird of you to accuse a molestation victim of lying because of some tinfoil media conspiracy.
I am not accusing any molestation victim of anything. You just made that up yourself. I am being critical of the media. And motives do matter. What else is the media sitting on that we may or may not ever find out about depending on if it ever becomes convenient?
Congratulations. You just put the New York Times and CNN on the same level of credibility as Wikileaks. The sad thing is at this point they probably are. And that is a big problem for all of us.
You said this story is manufactured. Maybe I misunderstood, but it seemed you were implying that it's not true.
You accuse others of being partisan, but you sound extremely biased here. Not for a political party, but your resentment of the press clouding your judgment. I agree that sitting on stories is unethical, and it's a problem, but are you really going to give pedophiles a pass just because you learned they were pedos at an inconvenient time?
I am not giving any pedophile a pass. If it actually happened (it probably did but we don't know that) this shit should have come out and been investigated whenever it was known about. Instead the media is using it to manipulate an election towards their own ends, and that is not a good thing for any of us IMO.
When I said manufactured I meant the media is manufacturing an environment conducive towards manipulating an election towards their own gain in an very insincere way. Not the story itself is manufactured. We don't know that yet.
But don't worry Republicans. As we sit here I am sure the right wing media is working hard to manufacture something damaging against the Democratic Party in response. Tit for tat.
Not true. I've often disagreed politically with Hillary, Obama, Clinton and other Democrats, and said so. And gave Republicans credit for the good things they've done. I've even voted for Republicans, but not for president.
Regarding right and wrong, when they do something wrong they should be held accountable regardless of party. But just because their political opponents say they did something wrong that doesn't mean it's true. Great example is Benghazi, a manufactured scandal that was investigated by 4 Congressional committees and they did suggest changes to SOP going forward but all of them concluded that nobody in government including Hillary could be held responsible for what happened under circumstances and policies in effect at that time. Another example is Hillary's e-mails, which was actual wrongdoing. She handled them improperly but the Justice Department concluded that it wasn't egregious and serious enough to get an indictment from a grand jury. It is super fucking standard to drop a case if these veteran prosecutors decide they cannot get an indictment. It happens every day. It's worth noting and taking into account when forming an overall opinion but not worth getting bent out of shape about. Information should always flow freely, but the level of ire has to bear some relationship to the magnitude of the wrongdoing.
Any guesses on the odds that Moore drops out?
Election is Dec 10th, and it would be the dem vs a write-in(Mr. Strange will prob campaign)
Bible thumping dickheads can't keep their filthy paws off of little girls, hypocrites.
I saw the movie. Are you arguing the movie portrayed events accurately?
Also, I understand when it comes to foreign policy, especially when you are doing covert shit in enemy lands, shit is a lot more complicated than right or wrong. Maybe an ambassador and some mercs were left to die, and maybe whoever was making the decisions estimated doing so really was in the best interest of our country.
So were clear, it makes verminaard sick to hear about pedophilia but not nearly as sick as manipulating election results.

this actually helps him with his (the trump) base. it's just the media making stuff up again in their minds.
Michael Bay film with some notable actors.
It is mostly from the perspective of the American mercenaries and doesn't get into the politics very much. But it is clear they were more or less left to fend for themselves when they thought they had been promised air support. And the theme of the movie was having the ambassador there at all at that time without adequate security was a very bad idea.
So to summarize:
shitty person has shitty takes and watches shitty movies.
Weinstein was a Democratic fundraiser. Roy Moore was an assistant District Attorney when he was molesting 14 year olds, and was then appointed Circuit Judge and twice elected Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. See how there's a huge difference?
And more importantly, the moment women started coming forward against Weinstein, like Anthony Weiner, pretty much every liberal condemned him. Republicans are defending Roy Moore. Tonight Sean Hannity said that a 32 year old trying to fuck a 14 year old is fine because it was consensual. People are citing the ages of married teenagers in the bible.
These are the same people who have the balls to call themselves "values voters", implying that nobody else has any values.
Sean Hannity now having to sink to the lowest depths of defending pedophilia is incredibly hilarious.
He's saying that he misspoke. @15:45:

I didn't hear what he said on radio though.
