I wasn’t trying to compare your play to a -170 selection. Fairly shitty use of the English language on my part above.

My now refined point, which i saw again tonight, is the strikeout market has really matured at many books (but not all). The books used the set the line on the high side and dare you to bet the under knowing that a majority of the squares will still bet the over. This year the game has changed. They are setting the line a touch low so there isn’t much value on under and daring you to bet overs and then adding juice to the over. Now you got sharps not taking the under and squares playing overs, which is the right side, but at huge juice so they can’t win over the long haul.

What am I missing on this Reds game tonight? I think this line goes up so I want to pounce now. Line seems fishy to me.

Look, I completely agree about hedging fundamentally. It’s a leak. I hedge when I’m betting larger and uncomfortable. I expose myself to all the loss and only partial win. Recipe disaster long term.

I even contacted them and said there was 500 in my acct extra cuz when you log in it looks like cash. They transfered me to a supervisor named Billy and he explained what it was. I lost it but fuck it was free.
