Speaking of poor business skills, LOL at Twitter being afraid to capitalize on Trump's usage of their platform. Even without supporting or endorsing him, they could have promoted the hell out of this by repeatedly reminding everyone to sign up for Twitter in order to get an instant connection to this President and his communications to the American people.
While Trump's usage of Twitter is no secret, there are plenty of less-tech-savvy Americans out there who don't realize that by creating a Twitter account and subscribing to him, they can see all of his commentary instantly, before news outlets report it.
Instead, Twitter will continue with the status quo, and continue to lose money.
Their decisions really leave me scratching my head sometimes.
Reminds me of their cyberbullying/trolling issue. Twitter is pretty much a free-for-all and they censor almost nothing. This has actually hindered them from success, by their own admission. However, instead of changing how they handle abuse of their terms of service, they do absolutely nothing, aside from occasionally banning a celebrity like Milo in some weird phony display that they're handling the problem.
Also, Trump pocketed about $150 million while running his casinos into the ground up to about the middle 1990s, leaving all of his investors holding the bag. And when building those casinos, he slowpayed subcontractors until they settled for a fraction of what he owed them.
And since then, he has only has significant success in deals where Russians played a key role in the financial viabilty/success of the projects as buyers of overpriced properties, or as lenders when other banks wouldn't work with him. And that involvement has classic signs of being driven by money laundering.
Why is it that you pride yourself on having super skills in identifying when some business or individual is likely engaging in fraud or shadiness, but you seem to give Trump a big pass on this? Because when it comes to pulling off shady and unethical shit businesswise, Trump makes Howard Lederer look like a third rate amateur.
But what if... like... he knew you'd know he knew? What then?
