If you want a meeting with Fauci don't contact his secretary. Contact his press agent.
thread is picking up again
several million doses of the vaccine are about to expire:

Fentanyl is one of the finest success stories of war against drugs. It's likely carfentanyl and friends doing most of the reaping, but a lovely family of drugs none the less.
The high i assume is the same you get from morphine/diamorphine. It's just 100-10000 more potent. When you combine that with pill mills running with cement mixers you get bodies.
Why any of that is a problem is two fold. For a short minute between 2016-2017 China made selling/producing legal. After that cartels just picked it up. Purdue turned a lot of upstanding citizens into junkies. And then the government cut that pipeline. Suddenly you had white middleclass opiate junkies looking for pills. Market responded with counterfeit Oxy's and whatever looked like mothers pills to white eyes.

At least two people OD'd from that video. Originally the blue fairy and the producer/second rapper.
The basic premise about the vaccine rollout in the US being a disaster is correct.
However, this article is garbage, and the author doesn't understand very much about COVID, despite the fact that it's been in the news constantly for 11 months.
Behold this gem:
This statement looks like it was written in March, not late December.Quote:
By March 1, South Korea was administering 11,000 tests per day, a rapidly growing figure; in the U.S., a country about seven times larger, the number was 183. Early, low-end estimates suggested 500,000 to 700,000 tests each day were necessary to slow the spread of the disease, and high-end estimates ran to 3 million per day; the U.S. didn’t reach 700,000 daily tests until mid-June, and still hasn’t reached that threshold of 3 million per day. As recently as August, lab delays caused by pent-up demand meant it was taking so long to deliver results that the tests themselves were effectively meaningless.
It turns out testing wasn't very useful to slow the spread, because it has since been learned that people are the most contagious BEFORE showing symptoms. Furthermore, no tests have ever been anywhere close to 100% effective. Even the best test at the moment (the painful deep nasal swab one) still has about 30% false negatives.
South Korea was originally hailed COVID geniuses because of their efficiency in early testing. In reality, they succeeded because they have a mostly-docile, government-trusting population, who does what they're told. In times of COVID, that's exactly what you want (and exactly what the US isn't). South Korea's methods would have flopped big time here.
Anyway, I generally dislike articles which come with the theme of "America sucks, other countries are great", even if some of the points raised are valid.
It is impossible to convince stupid and ignorant people that the coronavirus is a threat to their heath.
Maybe they will learn after they die from it?

Fauci is 77 years old and shouldn't be the top figure in all of this.
I have no doubt that he was very talented back in the AIDS days of the 1980s, and he's clearly not senile, but he's still 77, and hasn't been actively working in the labs for a long time.
Even sharp 77-year-olds aren't quite what they were in middle age. Also, in rapidly evolving fields of science/medicine, the old person typically isn't the correct go-to guy. It's a middle-aged man's game. Same reason I won't go to a doctor who is 77, unless I can't find anyone else.
That plus his over-embracing of his celebrity status has made me lose a lot of respect for him. I do understand that he was exasperated by Trump's antics, and I probably would have also, if I were in his position. Still, he's honestly not the right guy for the job, and not the hero he's being made out to be.
you said all the people that were dying were "old and gonna die anyways" yet you post a bunch of statistics showing 20k that aren't old who died of covid
you are wrong and couldn't be more wrong
you proved my point for me
