After reading the posts on the forum/blogs site it appears these guys are a bunch of suckers compared to PFA members BUT this is great for more leverage in the case.
Fascinating find, Druff.

Yup, he didn’t send the money, he’s off facebook and his email.I just hope those of you defending John feel foolish for buying a single word that scam artist ever said.Suckers.
Druff- Someone should email this site and see if they have any follow up on him from back then or even remember this case. You can direct them here if you want but are better off giving the person cliff notes of how Jasep rolled the charity, members here in a BAP, and former business partners of a website. Either yourself or Brandon would be best to do this imo.

From same site:
My name is Michael Polvere and I am the promoter for Cage Titans FC, a joint venture between me and match maker John Sepulveda. I do understand your view based on previous threads but please let me be clear, MMA Insider has no involvement, besides being a friend of Johns, in the “building” of Cage Titans. (To be honest I’ve never spoke or even met him)
Michael Polvere should be easy to contact for comment.
I'm finding all kinds of interesting shit as a result of Druff's post. Apparently Juan had some major role with another MMA organization called AFO.

From late 2009:

Hello,
My name is John Sepulveda and I represent the AFO (American Fight Organization) Based out of Pawtucket, RI. Last year we held 7 events and 2010 is already booked with 10 events and 3 more to be announced. We have a training center and we publish MMA Monthly Magazine. We are currently looking for sponsors for our events, we offer many packages to meet any budget and you get multi level advertising, including Event banner advertising, Magazine advertising, Web site advertising (we get approx 7000-10000 hits per day), banner advertising in our gym, fighter clothing advertising and more, if this is something you may be interested in discussing more send me an email at johnsepulvedaafo@yahoo.com. You can take a look at our website at afomma.com, it is in the process of being redesigned as we speak so check often to see updates, we already have a sponsorship deal with Everlast and a few local companies but we are looking to fill in some wholes, we are one of the only organization that gives our fighters health insurance and several shows per year are benefits for the Greater Boston food bank.
Thank you for your time.
John Sepulveda

Jasep sure has owned a lot of companies!

Cage Titans set for 'Epic' debut
John Sepulveda is what you call a fight fan.
He got hooked when he saw UFC 1 in 1993, started up and ran his own website (MMA Fan Grind) six years ago and says he's seen every local promotion come through Massachusetts. He's also worked with several (World Fighting League and American Fighting Organization) in the region.
The Rhode Island native has ventured into a new territory with his business partner, Michael Polvere, by creating Cage Titans Fighting Championship. The first show, dubbed "Epic,'' will debut Friday at Lombardo's in Randolph.
Sepulveda found out firsthand how difficult it can be to create a fight card. The actual one and what the 30-year-old first envisioned may differ, but after various fighter pullouts, injuries and contract troubles, Sepulveda couldn't be happier.
"I'm really happy about it. I'm happy that we set goals, and we hit them,'' Sepulveda said. "We adjusted to situations about as good as anyone can. We stayed within our budget and put together a solid show. This is our first time going at it, and there are promotions that have been going at it for years right now that are struggling to make it happen. I feel like we're starting at show one and going to have a big presence.''
Cage Titans' first show will have a solid main event as Chuck "Cold Steel'' O'Neil (7-3) will take on Anthony Kaponis (3-0) for the welterweight title. O'Neil, who trains out of Lauzon MMA in Bridgewater, is coming off a win at Bellator 17. Kaponis made his MMA debut this year and has finished all three opponents in the first round.
After spending a lot of time analyzing other local shows, Sepulveda feels he has a good grasp on how an MMA event should run. It's his goal not only to make Cage Titans run smoothly but to be considered among the best promotions in New England.
Friday, he'll get to put his long-awaited plan into action.
"I've been to every single show locally, and there is element every show that I really liked, that I've disliked, and I think I've figured out how to take the things I've liked and incorporate them into one single show,'' Sepulveda said. "Our show is going to be broken up into two parts. First half is going to be all amateurs and be one fight after another. Then we'll take a break and come back to our main card, which will incorporate video screens with hype videos, analysis and cage interviews.''
The site that Jasep apparently created in 2004, MMAFanGrind.com, no longer exists. But it does have a Twitter account, which has been inactive since 2009.
https://twitter.com/MMAFanGrind
I think the guy you really want to talk to is Michael Polvere. This guy partnered with Juan on the Cage Titans promotion and possibly the magazine publication. After Juanny started bouncing checks, it sounds like he left Michael holding the bag. I'd be very interested to hear what he has to say.
It appears my buddy Jorge Rivera has 3 or 4 fighters in the upcoming February 16 AFOMMA show, and will be there in some official capacity as he is the person on the fight poster

I can ask if Jasep is known for being a dirtbag, but my hunch is he'll have no idea who he is as he was UFC level during Jasep's time in these local shows. Kind of a bad group of people to choose to scam though (MMA fighters are a little different than poker players), I wonder what would happen if I brought up this charity mess and Jasep decided to attend a local MMA show or pull some new scam on fighters?
I just thought of this, I don't think this was mentioned anywhere else in the thread, but does anyone even know for certain if he has a kid? The people that know him up in RI (was it Kevin, Tim, JoeU, etc), he does actually have a daughter right? Like you have met her in person?
Just curious.
The general public would probably put both gamblers and MMA fighters in a similar category. One not to fuck with. I wonder how many bookies he has debts with. Those people that think his baby's moma (RP) should not know about this probably don't have kids of their own. I wouldn't want my kid anywhere near the scene of someone showing up to collect from him. What would vwls say?
Has anybody talked to AJ of blindsquirrel? How many shares of VPR did he buy?
If the amount of money stolen from poker players over the years was stolen from MMA fighters hospitals would be flooded
On the Anthony BSA thing: I noticed in the post Druff referenced from 2010 he mentions his partner Anthony and a clotihng line:
That would be a hell of a coincidenceQuote:
The point of contact for any issues is me, with butcher shop my partner anthony and I dissolved our partnership on July 31st and I would be the one who does all final sponsorship payouts, my email is johnsepulvedari@yahoo.com.
This guys seriously giving PeterDC a run.
Absolutely 100% had no idea how deep this rabbit hole was going to get.
Owner of Blind Squirrel is AJ DeNicco.

Lets have a little fun.. For years (since 2008) others (the haters) have at one time or another tried to tell fighters shows weren't happening or canceled, etc. Today I got an email asking cause someone said it. Back in 2008 -9-and even 10 I took it personal, got mad, etc, but now I can laugh it off cause its sadly a part of the business here locally - So win yourself a front row tickets by telling me who do you think would have said such an untrue statement..lol.

My research shows the A stands for Anthony, and the J most likely Junior
http://www.manta.com/c/mtq707j/blind...el-apparel-llc
Also, BSA was filed for trademark in July 2010, which is right in the timeframe of Jasep and "anthony's" MMA gig blowing up: http://www.markhound.com/trademark/search/4ViK27m48
Confirmed the Blind Squirrel owner's name is Anthony J. DeNicco
Wow, here is yet ANOTHER MMA company that Jasep may have been involved in. He seems to be very well known by the community.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but this post immediately popped out at me:Quote:
With the couple of threads about managers leaving the game this week.... I just thought I would let you know that I am a returning manager... Namely I am Johnny Sep, former owner of the Combat Pro franchise, game is solid and some free time has opened up on my life so I figured I would pop back in to play a bit...
Game on bitches...
:lol2Quote:
didnt you just up and leave out the blue and screw a bunch of people over. then you come back and try and keep it secret. you seem like a snake in the grass type dude.
i never ever encountered you so I am not passing judgement. it is just things i heard.
It had been reported that AJ is suddenly "unresponsive" since the truth came out about Jasep, so he very well may be an accomplice.
Jesus Christ, if any of this is true (and it's probably mostly bullshit), then we might really have another PeterDC on our hands...

From the desk of Combat Pro FC Montreal President Johnny Sep,
"Good evening, Combat Pro is moving in a direction that will change the way you view fighting. We are attempting to globalize our organization and remove the "Regional" Champions that we are accustomed to. Moving forward we will begin to establish WORLD champions that cater to the entire Combat Pro entity, we will begin hosting events in each city in the world and from these cities we will bring you the next generation of champions, contenders and icons. We have worked dillegently to begin the process of re-inventing existing orgs and making one new farm system org. Our business plan is precise and effective. More more information will be released as soon as details are finalized and prepared to be announced. Expect a new branch to be formed in a relatively short amount of time as we roll out our plans, the combatprofc.com website will serve as the platform for all of our global rankings, worldwide news and future plans, that website will relaunch on Nov. 1st with complete detail. It is an exciting time to be a fighter, manager or partner in the Combat Pro, Inc Franchise."
The following is a list of Combat Pro Branches, please contact myself or any of the org owners if you would like to discuss contract, sponsorships, etc.
Montreal- Combat Pro FC (Original, Johnny Sep-owner)

One of the most innovative organizations in the Tycoon universe brings you...
PROJECKT : FIGHTR
4 Fighters from each of our 5 weightclasses will come together for five seperate 4 man tournaments to establish five brand new title contenders. We will be bringing in these fighters to compete for an immediate title shot and $10,000 each in cold hard cash. In as little as 2 fights your fighter can secure $10,000 dollars and a shot at history and a Combat Pro Championship belt.
The requirements for the participants are simple. the fighters must have less than 5 fights, and you must be one of the first 4 competitors to PM me in the game with a fighter ID.
We are looking for fresh new upstart talent and we want to streamline the process to the top.
I addition to the $10,000 and the Title shot, every competitor will be given a free month of training at the gym of their choosing courtesy of Combat Pro FC.
Everyone has a project fighter but only Combat Pro has PROJEKT:FIGHTR.
