So this is really weird.
Tell me if you've seen this before.
Was trying to place bets on the Charlotte under, and the line was wildly fluctuating in the last 5 minutes.
First I got 223 -105 on 5Dimes. Ok, great. Then it jumped to 221.5 so obviously that's no good, so my second bet (I have to do two because of the low maximums I have there) was going to be on Betonline.
Betonline had 222 -105. I tried to fire, got an error message saying the new line is 222 -107. I said ok, I'll take it. As my finger was moving down to hit "place bet" (but not after I placed it), I clearly saw the new line was 222.5 -107, not 222. So I was about to be betting on a nonexistent (and worse) line.
Well, it was such a split second between when I saw it and when my finger was clicking the button, I clicked it through anyway at 222 -107.
So then when I had a bit more time to look, yes, it was 222.5 -107, and they fucked me out of a half point. To my knowledge, there was no 222 -107. The line got better while I was trying to place it -- from 222 -105 to 222.5 -107, and the system picked up the 107 change but not the 222.5 change.
I'm 100% certain that the actual line was 222.5 -107, and that they fucked me, probably due to some glitch.
This will only matter if the game lands exactly on 222 points (I'll tie instead of win), but still... it might. I called in, they have me on hold checking into it, but the hold music went away and I think that screwed up too.
Ugh.

I believe Betonline usually does inform you of a normal bet's favorable price change, but I think that there might be a split-second lag in doing so (maybe intentional), resulting in my getting screwed yesterday. Ended up a moot point though, as I won either way.
BTW, I first used a CP/M machine after I had used DOS. I didn't realize CP/M came first, and remarked that it sucked, and it seemed like a poor man's version of DOS. When I later learned that DOS was basically a CP/M ripoff, I felt stupid for having said that.

Considered a bet on Orlando over, but their offense is such trash and they play at a slow pace, I had a hard time firing over 229 on them, even against Washington. Boy Toronto was really shit today, especially Lowry, They even came back from a big 4th quarter deficit to pull into OT, only to get absolutely destroyed and lose by 11 (!!) in OT.
