Take it to the dealer and it’s assigned to a body shop. They didn’t want to fill the damaged spot. They take off the fender and call in the insurance company for the appraisal. Yeah, need a new fender.
He’s been waiting 6 weeks. The fender is off the vehicle. No one is putting it back on only to take it off again.
He literally may never get a replacement fender.. Meanwhile he’s renting a vehicle at a daily rate cause the insurance allowance ran out.
