You can definitely afford. Kroger has pork loin on sale for $1.89/pound often. It's not as good as tenderloin, true, but my kids think it's pig steak. It's the easiest meat to smoke, and I often just use my standard rub (with much Spanish-smoked paprika). No fancy pics for this one, people were hungry.

I've yet to contribute to this thread, mainly because I keep forgetting to take pictures, but this was my Father's Day breakfast that I enjoyed on the deck with my beautiful wife.
The steak was so tender I cut it with a fork & yes, you guessed it, that is Baileys Irish Cream in the coffee.

edit: well this was a fucking fail. If somebody can make that bigger so we can see it, it would be appreciated.
I've learned quite a few things from these boards over the years, but the one thing that I can say 100% changed my behavior is the English muffin instead of the hamburger roll.
I may occasionally still pick up some potato rolls for burgers, when the mood hits, but the house standard is now the English muffin.
