Harvin's nickname should be "fine china", he only appears on special occasions, is used once, then put back on the shelf.

Yeah, Seahawks.
That's what I think of New Orleans.
Saints fan here. Reeeaaallly wishing that they hadn't recovered the onside kick because what happened next was 1000 x more painful than if the game had just ended with a seahawks recovery.
That brain fart ranks right up there with some of the greatest Fuckups in sports history.. To this day the infamous Michigan phantom Time Out still is tops. Another masterful one was Joe Gibbs Double Time out he pulled on his second stint with the Redskins.
Odds are still against New Orleans pulling it off but we are talking about Drew Brees who had a hell of a lot of momentum in the 4th qtr and Pete Carroll had to be wondering WTF was going on.
Just a few shots from the game today.
My wife told me she watched her first football game on TV from start to finish.
Then she dropped the bombshell that she wants to go back & take in a Mariners game as well preferably against the Blue Jays. Looking at the MLB schedule the Jays don't play in Seattle during football season so we may have to do a road trip to somewhere where the Jays & Seahawks are both visiting next Sept.
True story. Apparently the Seahawks own her face too.
Be careful what you wish for Tony, 9ers on a roll and looking tough to beat. Good luck next week.
Quote:
Seattle Seahawks fans are proud of their "12th Man" legacy. The team even retired No. 12 for the fans.
The organization is just not ready for a 13th man supporting another team in their stadium
Seattle will host the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship game on Sunday. Apparently, the Seahawks are willing to do whatever it takes to solidify home-field advantage.
According to SFGate.com, the Seahawks are limiting ticket sales to just six states and the Canadian provinces for the upcoming playoff game. Only credit cards with addresses from Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii will be allowed to buy tickets for the game at CenturyLink Field.
Yes, California is among the states excluded from the list.
This is not the first time a professional team has gone to this extreme.
The Nashville Predators instituted a ticket policy for their games against the Chicago Blackhawks that prohibited fans from purchasing single-game tickets for the three home games in the rivalry this season, according to SportsOnEarth.com. Only certain zip codes were allowed to buy tickets to those games.
Seattle’s efforts to block San Francisco fans from taking over its stadium is admirable, but futile.
There are plenty of websites fans can purchase tickets on, like StubHub or Craigslist, and not have to worry about being blocked. Obviously, the Seahawks do not want to be responsible for selling thousands of tickets to 49ers fans, but they cannot prevent them from obtaining seats in their stadium.
However, it is still a great effort to make sure the 12th man does not have to sit next to a 49ers fan.
Tony, is this true?

Yep, exposed a couple of years ago but sadly used to be true.
Also I'm trolling a Niner fan site if anyone else wants to enjoy the fun.

Good call Tony on the 23-15 victory as you were only 2 points off. Still Russell can't throw 3 interceptions and expect to win next week. As of now 3 points sounds right again however. Wanted the Saints to win but Brees hasn't been right for a month.
On the other games.
Surprised the Pats won by such a large margin but their running game blew out the Colts.
S.F. over Carolina wasn't expected by that margin also. Fig Newton however I consider worthless.
Denver over San Diego I would have thought a much more lopsided victory by the Broncos.
Still on pace for the Seattle-Denver Super Bowl where it'll take an act of God for the Seahawks to win.
The Niners have only allowed 9 100 yard rushers in their last 101 games.
4 of those were to Marshawn Lynch.
TG for Seattle fans they are NOT the ones playing, they have already lost the mind game.
I'm mean wtf, how insecure can you guys be?????
All they do is brag about being the best fan base, yet afraid to let 500 49ers fans in.
(and if you were the best you would not have to keep repeating it)
Even if all 500 went to 49er fans, it would only be like 150 Seattle fans - to 1.
$ 100 escrowed w/Druff Lynch under 100 yards Rushing
