He's 34, but honestly he seems pretty much done. I actually thought he was done 3 years ago, as he really sucked during the time the Dodgers had him. Then he had that surprisingly good 2013 with the Red Sox, but he's been back to being mostly useless since then.
In the meantime, Dodgers have been very quiet.
If they do get Hamels or Price, look for Jose De Leon to be one of the pieces they give up. They are unlikely to part with Seager or Urias -- or at least I hope that's still their stance.

Seager is not going anywhere. I would hope Urias is not as well, but if pinched he might be the one to go. Latos is a rental whose contract ends this year. While he has been good since coming off the DL, he still has a 4.48 ERA in 2015. I know his career numbers are fairly good, so maybe it was just a horrible start that he's since gotten over. But it's still hard to count on him at this point.
Yes, Latos is an upgrade over the various fail minor leaguers that the Dodgers have been trotting out there, but I was hoping for more of a major acquisition.
If they follow up the Latos pickup with a Price or Hamels (though I hear Hamels is going to Texas very soon), then this doesn't look bad.
I still hate the Morse part of it, though, because he also probably doesn't have much trade value unless the Dodgers eat some of his salary.
Just seems like a waste of money (and prospects) to pick up a pitcher who has been up-and-down this season.
