:yes
I'm excited to hear the show while working tomorrow.
Best show ive heard in a long time.
Drexel is fantastic to listen to. First time listening to this broadcast, and I found it very good. Good luck with this guys, see you next week.
Would like to suggest that drexel gets his own show on filthy limper. He was great last night and can clearly carry a show on his own. Given that filthy limper normally focuses on slightly different content I'd suggest letting him run his own show with his own guests, similar to donkdown.
Downloading this week's episode now. It will be the soundtrack for my tournament play Sunday.
Great show guys.
I never get tired of hearing Drexel talk about all things Vegas and gambling. You can hear in his voice how much he truly enjoys the lifestyle, the city and all of the good and sometimes dark things that make Vegas the unique place that it is. For somebody who shares that passion about the city, but can only visit a few times a year, it is a treat to listen to.
great ''into the night with drexel'' show
Kind of the point, there are certain people I will turn my show over to. Druff and Drexel are two of those people. If Drexel joins us in the future he will be a gigantic part of the show but it will be more of a joint effort.
I am insanely happy with this show... So far second highest rated show yet and by wednesday it will probably be the highest

''Filthy Limper welcomed yet another guest host this week. Brandon “Drexel” Drexel led off the show with an in-depth look at the IGT Heads-Up Limit Hold’em machines that are scattered throughout the Casinos in Las Vegas.
The machines have been discussed at great length in the forums but Drexel reveals that he has been playing these machines exclusively over the last six months and he shares his insights into how to beat them. This segment is a must for any HU limit hold’em player thinking about taking on the IGT bots.
Drexel also hooked the guys up with Teddy “Iceman” Monroe. The “Iceman” is always a nice change of pace form your regular poker player interviews. If listening to him doesn’t bring a smile to your face, then you are probably taking life too seriously.''
even though i thoroughly enjoyed the show, i have to be honest and say that it lacked continuity...drexel isnt a good fit for your type of show
johnny saks, i recommend that you invest in some radio training...you need to work on your voice, as the delivery is too dry and a touch montone for my liking
you need a sidekick that can add a bit of charisma/fun/controversy to the show.
even though kevmath brings adds some credibility to the show, the guy really needs to get some elocution lessons,as his stuttering tilts the fuck out of me
unfortunately for him, he doesnt even have a head for radio
overall, i enjoy your show, i just think you need to work on a few areas
After sifting through the unnecessary and unfunny troll portion of your post I will address the actual content of it.
Brandon has never been on our show before and I have never spent anytime on radio with him in the past, whether or not he is a fit or our show has continuity is something that will be determined after a few episodes. Brandon was excited to be back on the air and had a lot to say and I thought it was great. If Brandon decides to be on our show in the future I am sure we will all settle in to our roles and be more comfortable and aware.
Kevmath is the worlds leading authority on poker news and its not even close. Regardless of his speech, voice or appearance he is an asset and you will never find another person to provide as much accurate and detailed information as he will. I am not sure his future with Filthy Limper because he was recently hired as the Poker Information Manager for Bluff Magazine and, as a result, his relationship with AVP was ended. We have not discussed his roll with FLPR yet but in whatever capacity he is available it is better than him not being available.
As far as me. I work on my performance all the time. I have zero previous on air experience and after 6 months I feel like I have improved a great deal. I always listen to constructive criticism and try to adjust. I will not be paying for radio lessons anytime soon. I do a free podcast and make minimal money doing it. If the site ever generates a bunch of income maybe this is something I will explore, but for the immediate future, I will keep trying to improve and you keep enjoying what we give you every week. People have different opinions of my voice, I know I have gotten tons of compliments on the way I sound on radio and have used the show to close several POF deals in the past.
The people with the Filthy Limper logos are doing so because of Micon's tilt request for Jasep to remove his logo (even though everyone else on the site is allowed to put one up for free). Micon retracted the request when the public got pissed off and started sporting their own Filthy Limper logo. I thought it was fitting.
I admit I'm a bit perplexed about the people who say they hate DD but keep posting there. If you like the site, I completely understand wanting to post there. However, if you hate it, why not just leave? Same goes for any other site.
I have listened to 3 or 4 shows and it is pretty decent from what I've heard.
Just one small suggestion, when a poker player guest is introduced, try and give the audience a brief poker resume for that guest so the listeners know a bit more about his/her poker accomplishments. Some guests are more well known than others but especially for the less well known guests, this would be appreciated.
Oh, and more Amanda Musumeci.
That's all,
Thanks.
And turn up the volume on your system.
Listened to the special Drwexel show, had to have the volume at 100% and even then sometimes it was hard to hear.
For DD and PFA, and just about everything else, I have it comfortably at 50%, so unfortunately its your show.
Thats excellent timing, thats probably how long Micon will keep running donkdown into the ground for before finally giving up.
for anyone who thinks i've been 'trolling' micon lately..
look at the way jasep responds to criticism about his show/site, and look at the way micon does
micon is smug and condescending, while jasep truly wants to make his product better
the same way micon refuses to go to the garage at aria to get a hat for bootsy collins (even after bootsy has offered to pay $20), and jasep ships filthy limper gear for free on the reg
one understands that his business is built around his audience, the other loathes his users
tl;dr: squirrel dicks micon
Micon certainly does not "loathe his listeners". If that were true he would have quit to do something else long ago. IMHO, he just settled into a mode of doing things a certain way and has somehow disconnected himself from receiving feedback from others. If you are driving the wrong way on a one way street with a blindfold on, how will you ever know? When you crash into something obviously. If he takes the blindfold off he may avoid that crash but things aren't lookin too good sadly. So much HISTORY with that site, I MISS 2007-2008 NWP with a passion, it has really left a hole in my heart. Micon sits on so much history for so many it's not even funny, and he just has no idea..
