The armpit issue isn't discussed much, but it's a normal side effect.
My girlfriend got that one. She also got some weird pain on the tops of her hands.
However, she did better than me, as she didn't get ill from the shot like I did. I had some pretty bad arm pain, and a lot of general muscle/joint soreness, but I didn't get the armpit or hand thing.
That swollen armpit is no joke that MF hurts lol. It’s about half the size now as when I posted. I was going to do a teledoc appointment but I decided to google it and seen it’s common. It was worry some though I won’t lie. I didn’t think anything was seriously wrong but I thought maybe I was having an allergic reaction
Getting my 2nd Pfizer tmrw afternoon. Hoping for just arm pain again.
:beggar
I forgot to comment on this before, but I noticed this myself last year, when my work started temping everyone walking in the door. I averaged about 97.5 for long enough until I stopped paying attention.
Curious if you two (Druff and BCR) are like me and prefer slightly cooler temperatures in life, in general.
If you’re talking about indoors, to the extreme. I keep it at 65 always and rarely put the furnace on during the winter unless it’s like 10 if it’s just me. I slept like 300 nights a year at my last girlfriend’s house for two years and they were exact opposite, drove me crazy. I went to a birthday party there a few weeks ago and was going to stay over as I was borderline on how much I drank, but I literally couldn’t sleep. Too warm. I just hung out for a few hours drinking coffee and went home when I knew I was under legal limit.
If you mean outside, I prefer a 70 degree sunny day. I love to golf. I’m not even wearing a jacket at anything around 50. A hoodie anything below 50. Don’t need a jacket unless it’s freezing.
I hate humidity. It sucks here as our summers are humid. Fall is my favorite season and I’d be fine with SF type weather.
I like the desert climates even if it’s 110 because it’s dry. Last time I was there was the hottest day ever on record and it cracked the windshield on my brand new CTS as the windows weren’t treated.
I’d take Phoenix or Vegas as our winters suck, and the heat is dry. Florida doesn’t agree with me at all. I’m miserable there during the bad months.
Inside I’m always at 65.
I didn’t have any reaction to the 1st shot except a sore arm.
When I got the 2nd shot I didn’t have any reaction the 1st day. I got it at 5pm. Went to dinner. Watched the Dodgers lose. Everything great.
The next day I started to get the chills. 10 hour rule? I felt fine otherwise. No nausea. Good appetite. As the day progressed I was bundled up pretty good. I got colder and colder.
So I’m wondering what my temperature is. I must have a fever. I can’t even remember the last time I used a thermometer. But I bought a PulseOx last year as I was pretty sure I was was gonna get covid.
So I put my finger in the device and it would not give me a reading. I’ve measured myself before. I tried repeatedly. I’m getting frustrated. I called my wife over. “Hey, put your finger in the PulseOx.” 1,2,3 she gets a reading. Wonder what that meant. The vaccine was fucking with my circulation obviously.
I finally packed it in and went to sleep early. I slept for 12 hours or more. I felt like a damn million dollars the 3rd day.
It’s interesting to consider that 100 million Americans have had a crummy day in one fashion or another recently.
Room temp? We never turn on the heat. Wife always has the bedroom window open in the winter. It skews colder than I’d like but I don’t get to choose.
Edit
Forgot to say Moderna.
Pfizer
First shot, I had a short spell of the feeling you get after riding a rollercoaster 10 times.
Second shot, pretty much nothing with the exception of feeling a bit tired.
I was anticipating worst so I consider myself lucky.
Anyone complaining about a sore arm has a vagina.
Florida is now open to everyone who wants the Covid Vaccine
At this point DeSantis is actually doing the things you need to do to really get Elected one day. And as Druff says, he really has come out of this whole 'OMG' a Pandemic fake crap, lookin pretty tough. If you want to wear a mask, wear a mask. If you dont, dont. Now hes telling everyone go get a shot, guy cant lose here. Going to make a lot of people want to live here sometime. And Florida your Money really does go far too. For a house where im from $250,000 will get you a 50+ year old piece of junk, that needs work. $250,000 in Florida you're getting a Brand New Home. Florida and especially that South Florida area (West Palm to Miami) the Real Estate Market is on fire. but it doesn't make sense either really. Will it burst, I dont think it will here. Beautiful weather, No State Income Tax Florida is really a Desirable place for people to move too for a variety of reasons. And cost of Living here is low, No State Income Tax. In NJ you also pay about 1k a Month just in Property Taxes. Yeah good Public schools and other things, but its not that pretty. Florida is low State Income Taxes. So across the baord and for reasons Florida is a smart place to live, or retire. I'm a Registered Independent and for years, and their is actual things I do myself like about him and the decisions he keeps making here in Florida. Im a Ron DeSantis fan more then im a Fan of the overall GOP Ideology. Anyways, so Yesterday was Public 8AM-7PM or something, and CVS/WALMART are all going to be offering the shots certain days. So basically if you want the Covid Vaccine here in Florida now anyone can get it on a day some Food Store or Pharmacy is offering it.
got vaccinated today pfizer. I feel fortunate that so far i have evaded the covid. I will however say I am shocked of the amount of people in Canada hiding under there beds triple masked. I have and will mostly obey the rules put out by the health authority until they start breaking there own rules. Very much hope the Canadian US border opens as we haven't been to our beach house in WA for 16 months... with hind sight we should have rented it out our neighbour rented there's our for 1700 per month, we did not realize the border would be closed for so long. sigh.
looking forward to this shit to end.
What a fuck up this guy is. He starts a thread about receiving a vaccine. Look around Jose a lot people are in hurt
everyday. You gigantic pussy.

Got my second shot of Pfizer yesterday afternoon. So far other than the expected sore arm I haven't felt any side effects.
You’re lucky. I also got my second Pfizer yesterday afternoon. After about 10 hours and zero side effects other than the arm pain, I thought I was in the clear but NOPE.
Woke up this morning, chills, body aches and fever. So drained have barely been able to move. Luckily, I didn’t get the 2 side effects which I least desired, that being the nausea and headaches. Still, very uncomfortable and at the time of writing this I’m 25 hours removed and don’t seem to be doing any better.
So people who get shots can go without masks? How are they going to check if you have shots documents? Frisk and search randomly?
Maybe we are long lost brothers.
Pretty much identical experience to mine. The headache I got wasn't from the shot, it was a tension headache from being in bed so much, so I don't really count it as a side effect (though it sucked). I got no nausea except at about the 38-hour mark, it briefly showed up, and I used a handheld electric fan to stop me from vomiting, and then the nausea went away. Like you, the nausea and headache were what I feared the most, and I also dodged them for the most part, though I got the headache as an indirect result of the whole thing.
Also, like you, I didn't get any bad side effects until well after the usual 6-9 hour timeframe. For me, the fatigue started at the 12.5 hour mark, and the fever came a few hours later when I woke up with it. And also like you, it lasted a lot longer than most people, who tend to be all better at the 30-hour mark.
Anyway, by tomorrow there should be some improvement.
SAME FOR ME...kinda
Got the shot around noon.....made it all day with nothing but mild arm pain again, thought I was in the clear. Went to bed, woke up around 7am with horrible chills. Took me 20 minutes to bundle up/stop the shivering and fall back asleep, although to my surprise, I woke up after at like 10am with no real fever or anything. Just body aches and brain fog. By the next day was pretty much back to normal.
Probably the only time in my life where I had chills that bad that did not result in a bad fever the next day. Weird.
Pfizer for me first shot this morning second June 8th
God speed
I mean honestly we are all different and I get that, and maybe some of this is all Mental who knows. It was literally nothing and not important but I was smoking a bowl (Medical Card) a hour or two after it, was yawn whole thing.. I literally had nothing zilch, I forgot I even got it yesterday too. My second shot is June 8th and people have said thats worse, but idk i think this whole thing was absurd but nothing at all noticeable for me.
2nd Shot June 8 hopefully as uneventful as this first one
Got the J&J vaccine Wednesday. No immediate reaction, but developed mild flu-like symptoms today (headache, mild muscle aches). But don’t worry. I’ve put in a contingency protocol for someone else to regularly make posts here in my stead if I go completely south and become the first worldwide documented case of someone needing hospitalization or worse after getting this “junk” vaccine.
last Saturday got the 2nd Pfizer shot...okay first 6 hours, 6-30 hours some general body ache & a mild headache (uncomfortable but bearable), okay afterward
got a $5 discount coupon from Walgreen for choosing to get it there....went to office max to get vac card laminated, was surprised there was no charge for it--they laminated a copy, so the original can record subsequent boosters
Very gay! I’ve never been sick in my entire adult life. All you have to do is say “I feel fine” and you feel fine. Have you tried sunning your balls? Boxing 8 rounds? Lifting heavy weights? Hill sprints! Have you? We already know the answer! Could a grown man kill you with his bare hands or not?
