Thanks to Druff, I notified the local media here in Sacramento and tonight we got a news story from ABC10...
Investigation underway after Citrus Heights casino was 'alarmed by allegations of unfair play'
Something that happens in live casinos located in America is way more likely to make Sportscenter then an online poker site not located in the USA.
Druff got rekt by Pot Ripper too and while that personally hurt him I'm sure he can put aside the differences in these two cases and not just say how much more UB/AP stole chalking it up as if this case is small compared to that. It's still wrongful cheating and it happened in a place where that shouldn't ever be a question to happen.
The UB/AP story got covered later on much more in depth (60 minutes, etc.) and this case is likely to as well if Postle is finally deemed guilty.
When asked about the hat question he mentions it then really dodges around it.
Matusow says the better part of the interview is in part 2 which I hope so but I doubt it.
Part 2????
Druff would never make people wait for another part even if the show was 10 hours long.
The fact that he's talking to Mike, literally the only guy on his side with any following, speaks volumes. So does the fact that he is claiming he's only watched "10 minutes" of videos analyzing his hands.
If I were in his spot, and innocent, I'd be on Joeys stream defending myself every second he would let me.
the guy who has been accused of softball interviews killing matusow for his softball interview. Pretty bad to not do any research
lmao joey absolutely sonned matusow and he was in the chat tilting
matusow might actually call in to defend that abortion of an interview...if he can figure out how to use skype
If it's so "urgent" to get his story out. Why the fuck would you break it up into 2 parts and make people wait another day?
omg mike defending himself and his old lady is tilting her face off in the background
:lol3
Mikes wife sounds like a real catch.
I was told by a longtime listener that they remember Mike on UB, and that he did indeed do very well on there.
That doesn't exonerate Mike in any way here. As I've said many times, just because someone is a winning poker player doesn't mean they can't also cheat on top of that. Sadly that appears to be what has occurred here.
Even though Justin has unwisely made his Twitter private, the internet sleuths seem to have made a breakthrough which would seem to possibly exonerate Justin -- and ironically, it's using info from Justin's Twitter.
In early January 2019, Justin was gone in the Bahamas, but surprisingly, Mike still appeared to be cheating.
So how was this possible, if Justin was his inside man? This made people start to consider that Justin actually wasn't the inside guy, after all.
However, Taylor Smith, who is thought to be the "graphics guy" and have access to the live stream, apparently has more of a correlation with Mike's cheating. For example, on the 6/1/19 stream, where Mike didn't seem to cheat, Taylor is commenting in the booth (and thus unable to help Mike).
In the 3/16/19 stream, Mike seems to be cheating for the first three hours plus, and then at the 3:14:00 mark, Taylor takes over in the commentary booth for 25 minutes, and Justin leaves the booth. Interestingly, when accounting for the half hour delay, you will notice that Mike doesn't seem to cheat from the 3:44:00 mark through the 4:09:00 mark, when Taylor would have been in the booth. This would imply that Mike doesn't have Taylor's help during that 25 minute period, hence it's the only period he has to play normally.
At the moment, it seems that if Taylor is unavailable (either gone or in the booth), Mike can't cheat, and plays like a normal person.
Things that make you go, "Hmmmmmmmmmmmm"
I haven’t read the thread so I’m not sure if this has been said but I believe he found an app or was approached by someone who developed one, that uses Bluetooth to get sent the data of the cards on the table. Maybe he catches the table data in transfer to the computers. That’s all

Mike Postle of California puts on a strong performance at the year-end Ante Up NorCal Classic at Thunder Valley Casino Resort to capture our 2015 Ante Up Poker Tour Player of the Year award.
Best quote from the podcast - “if you’re 100% sure you’re behind, pot odds mean nothing".
Justin apparently does a monthly vlog on being sober this year. He commented on Kevin Racks dying awhile back. He seems to feel bad that he couldn't do a shot with him, but I guess he doesn't feel bad that he (more than likely) let him get cheated in one of the last games he played https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkEu6-mUu88&t=473s
Does the Matusow household most resemble the Connor or the Kramden household?

Quick question:
1) approx how much did Postle clear during the streaming. Ballpark. My impression is it wasn’t that much especially considering he was certainly chopping with his Stones partner(s).
2)Is the Calif gaming commission involved or interested that we are aware of?
Veronica seems smart and interesting, especially for someone who is 42. I would be interested in more of her.
She is not the damaged sort Druff usually interviews. It would be interesting how that dynamic would fare.
It looks like he won $250k or so ballpark during the streams from 1/1/18 to 9/21/19.
It has been reported to CA Gaming, but they are known to be notoriously weak regarding consumer issues. That's how a lot of the shenanigans at Commerce have gone on for so long, involving the house-banked games.
In 2016, a Caesars bankruptcy filing included Mike Postle (definitely the same guy, based upon address) as someone who owed them money:

"I was waiting for my UB refunds and the manager of UB called me and told me I was the most profitable player on UB of all time, so they wouldn't pay me. Unfortunately that gives you an idea of how much money I was making"
"the reason I only played on the stream is because I have a kid. All these people accusing me of cheating that don't have kids just don't get it"
"making more money wouldn't change my life. I don't need it bc I'm already happy in my life"
Aside from some insane claims (he was the biggest winner all time on UB, he will play Doug Polk any time heads up "after this is all over", and that he's one of the best poker players in the world), the second interview was more useless rambling like the first.
He did not address any of the most damning accusations, nor did he discuss any hands.
Summary of Part 2 of the Matusow interview: "I'm one of the best in the world, I've been winning 16 years, I didn't win nearly as much on the streams as you guys claimed I did, and I don't play poker for money or fame, yet that's what supports me."
He challenged Doug to play HU.
lol
Also, Joey is doing 'lazy investigating'.
Look at this one:

Go to 26:00 and start watching for next 20 seconds.
"Chase" at the table didn't scan his cards properly, and somehow Postle knows it, gets his attention, and gestures for Chase to scan them again.
How does Postle know they weren't registered?
Wow.
This was posted on Wizard of Vegas.
"Stones Gambling Hall has announced it is appointing an independent investigation team headed Michael Lipman, a former assistant U.S Attorney. But, now, it has been discovered that Michael Lipman is the personal defense lawyer of the owner of the Stones Gambling Hall.
Is that what the word "independent" means?"
Outrageous!!

Wow. Look how he gets off so cheap on trips, by checking the flop, firing small on turn (hoping to fold to a raise, presumably), and then folding to a bet on the river.
More importantly, look how he keep pressing on his hat while he's "deciding" what to do.
He so clearly has an accomplice communicating with him.
Hey Druff:
Listening to your recap for PodCast #2.
If Postle is playing all of these tournaments at Thunder Valley (95%), none of which are verified with a cash by his Hendon Mob results, shouldn't he have the entry receipts to document his entries (and losses)?
You know, to offset all of those cash game cashes. Seems like any reasonable person would be saving those receipts if they are being truthful.
While I'm convinced that Postle cheated in these games, I will defend his play on this particular hand as not unusual for a non-cheating player with a lot of live play experience at lower NLHE stakes. Here's why: The exaggerated physical check on the flop by the guy with A4 is a dead giveaway by most small stakes rec players as showing-weakness-to-hide-strength. Can't tell you how many times I saw this playing at that level back in AC. A lot of rec players at the level just can't control themselves in hands that like with that tell. After I learned this the hard way, I saved myself a lot of money with seemingly appealing second-best hands like Postle's in such situations. Meaning, i would have most likely played the hand the same way as Postle right down to folding on the river absent superuser knowledge of my opponents hand, especially with so many preflop callers in the hand.
