I am getting ready for a "beat 408Mike" contest of some kind, the basis is simple: 11 weeks to get into your best shape, the person who produces the biggest turnaround wins. Every contestant follows more or less the same diet and training program (which I have laid out already for a poster here who shall remain nameless unless he wants his name out there) and I myself will be doing the same protocol.
This will be a clean contest so no steroids allowed, and I will be enforcing this rule as well as subject to it. Think you can slip some anavar usage past me? Try me....Before and after pictures will be a must for all contestants.
I just took some pictures and haven't trained much the last year. Pics going up around whenever I do next radio show (this week hopefully) and the winner is going to win something. I haven't figured out what yet, but it will be interesting and worthwhile for all. I currently weigh 204@14% or so, 5ft10 and getting ready to get back in the gym for the first time with dedication in years if anyone cares to know.
Today marks a brand new year and I am pleased to report I have been clean for over a month now and have never felt better. Ultimately my love of the Iron Game has been my greatest strength and it was the one and only thing a certain substance could not displace from my heart. The friendships I threw away bring me to tears, my family was always second to this demon, but in the end nothing could defeat my love of my chosen sport. In 2013 I plan to compete again, most likely the Contra Costa or potentially the San Jose (always a big show) in July.
Anyone/everyone invited to participate in the makeover contest, I will lay out the diet in the next day or so and announce the formal rules and possibly the prize during my next radio segment.
Last China and I spent some time organizing my show and I will be debuting my Fitness Show with my own music and the entire show will be much better overall. I have listened to what everyone said, I have addressed the various flaws from the first show and promise you all I will not disappoint.
I hope everyone has had a festive Holiday Season and look forward to helping you all achieve your goals and wish you all the best.
Mike
