Rarely have I seen someone so unmoored from reality as yourself. Like you just won an election that you have no idea why. You’re like Mr Jones in that something is happening and you don’t know what it is.

Appreciate the honesty on who you respect. It’s very telling.
Always looking for a handout in this cold, cruel world for those who made shitty life choices or just “ran bad”.
Must be sad always looking around the corner who is out to get you everyday. The government one day, the Jews the next, big pharma occasionally along with whitey of course.
lol, I’m a leftist.
I’m just reporting the news. I’ve never seen such a reaction. The 35k happy face emojis posted to the Facebook announcement etc.
I WOULD CHARACTERIZE THE PUBLIC RESPONSE TRUMP POPULIST
I know very little about healthcare but I’m learning quite a bit last few days
Again @Boz
I WOULD CHARACTERIZE THE PUBLIC RESPONSE TRUMP POPULIST
United Healthcare as a company not offering a huge reward like 50k plus for the murder of their ceo speaks volumes.
It’s almost like they were behind it.
You have to understand he was camped out on Druff's sister site for many years battling a mentally unstable Karen Nathan, and recently came over here, to the big leagues. He simply was not ready for it. And I get it, he took a shot, but I think he will even admit he has been overwhelmed by participating here. This forum is tough stuff, not many people can handle it, and the Boz has simply cracked under the pressure. But that's ok, it's not for everyone.
That’s funny, I’ve been here over 4 years with less than a quarter of the posts you have but 400 more in reputation score.
Sure that’s a BS indicator but maybe if you need some help making quality posts I’ll give you some pointers coach boy.
Again, as Tell said above, it’s a dying forum that you claim is the “big leagues”. Who exactly has cracked?
And no, I’m not overwhelmed dealing with a few apparent assholes. Most of the people here I converse with seem decent and take this place for what it is. You and a couple others are the only ones that seem to take it so seriously, which makes one again wonder how fucked your life is.
It's not that at all. You just have been clobbered here, and that is ok, seriously. You just did not know what you were facing when you came over here from the minor leagues. It's an aggressive forum in these parts, much like a violent prison I guess and I don't set the rules around here btw, its the owner. I put many of posters into retirement over the years, didn't want to do it out of spite, felt I owed it to them though.

There's some very poor understanding of the US healthcare industry on social media, mostly from the left.
Here's the basic facts, in short:
1) Insurance is not the reason healthcare is so expensive in the US
2) The US healthcare compensation is system is broken, needs to be torn down, and rebuilt
3) Socialized medicine is not the answer, and in fact will make existing problems worse (especially since our system wasn't initially built for it)
4) There is a doctor shortage in the US, which almost nobody talks about
5) There are also corrupt insurance companies. It's very possible United Healthcare was one of them, but that's a symptom of a greater problem.
I'm also seeing retards comparing life expectancies. and showing that the US trails other developed countries, despite highest per capital expenditures.
This leads to the conclusion, "WE NEED SOCIALIZED MEDICINE!"
In order to compare healthcare outcomes, you can't just look at life expectancy.
It requires complex study, which among other things, removes/adjusts for:
1) Drug and alcohol related deaths
2) Obesity related deaths
3) Deaths from those who voluntarily chose not to seek timely care
4) Deaths due to accidents or violence
5) Differences in diets, genetics, and lifestyle between countries
In the studies which have attempted to adjust for the above, the US actually comes in #1.
That's not to say we don't need healthcare reform, because we very much do. The system is a mess, and the billing is a borderline scam. I'm just saying that we shouldn't be so quick to jump to a single payer system.
