I have a feeling it's in better shape than your saggy 55-year-old cock.

Pretty amazing that Kamala and Biden won't event make the BS promise that they won't pack the court, and then reevaluate later after they win
Instead, they are risking losing votes because they are so certain they want to do it, and they're afraid to blatantly lie, knowing it will bite them later.
The answer is pretty obvious.
I love how Democrats are trying to justifying why this is okay, totally ignoring that it will set a precedent that the party in power will just endlessly pack the court to get the majority they want. It's amazing that this is even up for discussion.
I think it's more like, they don't want to say they're not going to do it because it'll piss off some of the progressive donors who are giving them money. Trump could probably score some points pushing this point in the next debate but he seems to be afraid to do another debate, which is weird given that he needs a big inflection point miracle to have a chance of winning. But I'm happy to have him opt out.
There's a simple solution: Senate Republicans can pledge to leave this process to the next Senate and whoever wins the Presidency as they did in 2016 if Senate Democrats pledge not to pack the court should Biden win and they win control of the Senate.
OR
Require 60 votes in the Senate for confirmation that probably would result in a more moderate Supreme Court.

Agree with you about Trump, but I don't agree about them being afraid to piss off the progressive donors. The packing-the-court thing is the biggest shot Trump has right now to push hard and get people doubtful of a Biden/Harris ticket. It's really the only new weapon in his arsenal. The rest of the scare tactics ("you're going to lose your health insurance", "the police will be defunded", "your taxes will go up", etc) aren't getting the job done. Repeating that stuff won't change anything.
The smart play for Biden is to put and to the court packing nonsense, say he won't do it, and then come up with some bullshit excuse in 2021 if he decides to actually do it. For example, it could be something like, "We weren't going to, but we realized Roe v Wade was very much in danger of being overturned after 49 years, and we had to do something!!!111"
Progressives hate Trump with a passion and are showing up to vote Biden, even if he promises not to pack the court. That's not a showstopper for his leftist supporters. Biden shouldn't be giving Trump this potential way back into contention. When you open up a big lead, the smart play is to be non-controversial and attempt to avoid anything changing the conversation. This is a mistake on Biden's part.
Dems need to drop expanding supreme court at least in this context. I believe its just a threat to get leverage but doing them no good.
The real problem is a system that allows someone (unelected) to serve for 40-50 years once sworn in. Honestly when you look at the length of time they serve they arguably have more influence than the president of the united states.
So True.
Also it's only weird if you assume Trump is acting with any sort of rationality and not simply driven like an angry child. I mean if he was rational/strategic he wouldn't have consistently attacked foxnews in favour of OAN which has nowhere near the same influence. The fact we are 7 months into a pandemic and people still can;t figure out where Trump stands on COVID 19 tells you just how terrible his messaging has been. The debates were probably his best way to trip Biden up but he's too stubborn to even begin to make allowances for a second debate (Trump has little to lose debating Biden but the reverse certainly not true).
This is so f'd up, how can u vote Biden
