Newsom’s water policies are asinine, but Delta Smelt issue predated him by decades. However, sending more water to LA is politically infeasible, because every single person north of the Tehachapis is adamantly opposed to sending a single extra drop of water to Southern California. If you don’t understand why, you don’t understand our history.
