I don't know if this is Barry's point, but the right spends most of their time saying, "Don't be a snowflake" and "political correctness is the biggest issue in the country" and then they get offended constantly. I would say the left is more hypocritical. You may not like the message, but at least the right stands for something.
The left is just a hodgepodge of special interest groups, each with their own agenda.
What the hell do feminists and Muslim groups have in common ideology wise, other than their hate for the patriarchy. And Muslims aren't even anti patriarchy. They just follow different lying, corrupt old men than we do.

Many things fall under the umbrella of being liberal. This is not the case with conservatism. You do have the libertarian split, but outside of that there is little disagreement on what "conservative" views are. That doesn't really mean they stand for anything in particular.
