I'm glad that you agree that partial herd immunity for COVID (presently, in some populations) is a thing, though. You should tell that to others on the left. They really believe that lockdowns + masking is responsible for decreased numbers in the places which improved.

Does this mean that you agree places should reopen if they already had a bad bout with COVID, and the numbers vastly decreased on their own? Because most of the US left does NOT believe that.

Difference between doing something and doing almost nothing is still 10x dead/disabled. And Sweden basically hit their best case scenario.

Most of Europe started reopening in areas with very few new cases. I don't see why not.

Also likely with the next run, if that comes, we can get away without mass quarantine.

The quarantine wasn't because of how lethal/contagious covid-19 turned out to be. It was for the bottom 10% of possible scenarios.

Also in the countries that did better, most screwed up protecting the elderly, medical personnel and few other groups like refugee centers or prisons.

I am not arguing about immunity or that it’s not getting better, as it clearly is. I seriously doubt there was 0.0 deaths. Last week they had a day where they reported zero and had over a 100 a few days later. That seems totally impossible. Death is random, but not that random. and having a zero wedged between days of 20 or 30 on a week where you had an over 100 day is almost impossible to believe. Everyone compiled their numbers differently, as I know my state always runs a day or two behind. Clearly you don’t think there are zero deaths in 24 hours wedged in a week with a bunch of 20s and a 100 day? Seems logical the 100 is a day certain deaths become official for whatever reason. Like why weekends have always been lower, and over the last 3 months, Mondays also. I don’t know why that is, but it’s been that way for a long time and has something to do with state health boards.

Clearly something is going on with some type of immunity. I don’t think it can be herd immunity from this virus as positive percentages at their worst were like 25%, but maybe a combination of this virus and that T cell immunity from previous corona strains left us needing a much lower number than we assumed. We will see when it gets cold. It missed the vast majority of people. We will see what happens.

All the evidence has shown that gaining partial herd immunity combined with T Cell response among the general population along with protecting the elderly has been the smartest strategy to combat the virus. Many people on twitter and other places have been screaming about this for weeks and weeks but their voices have been drowned out.

This info is being withheld from the general public because it’s not politically useful. If you can’t figure out by now that you’re being lied to about the virus by the MSM and your government leaders on a daily basis you need to wake up.
