The mystery bettor who beat Las Vegas sportsbooks out of millions of dollars on the 2017 World Series and more than $10 million in Super Bowl LII appears to be back in action on Super Bowl LIII.
The unidentified gambler, who placed at least $7.4 million in money-line bets confirmed by the Review-Journal on the Eagles over the Patriots in last year’s NFL title game, is again betting big against New England.
The bettor placed a $1.5 million money-line wager to make $1.8 million Friday in Nevada on the Rams (+120) over the Patriots on his William Hill mobile app.
According to William Hill, it was the same bettor that won $1.65 million on a $1 million money-line wager on Philadelphia (+165) last year when the Eagles beat New England 41-33 in the Super Bowl.
Sources told the Review-Journal last year that was the same bettor who won all of his wagers on the 2017 World Series and helped deal Nevada books their worst baseball month ever in November 2017, when they lost $11.4 million.
MGM Resorts took a $2 million wager on the Super Bowl on Thursday, but sportsbook director Jay Rood declined to give details on the side or total.
Also Friday, a South Point bettor placed a $300,000 money-line wager on the Rams.
After taking the $1.5 million bet, William Hill lowered the Patriots from 3-point favorites (even) to 2½-point favorites (-110).
As of Friday night, every Las Vegas book was at 2½ (-110), and all but two books had the total at 56½.
Caesars Entertainment was at 56 and the Stratosphere at 57½.
Cmoney is that you?

Definitely going with the Pat's now....
"mystery bettor" STFU. they know who it is ffs.
After a nice win with Memphis, which was doing well pretty much the whole way, I just got clobbered hard with the Houston/Denver pick. Disaster the whole way, and there were over 150 points in the first half. Ouch!
Another 1-1 day.
Record now is 28-24-1.
So far it's been an unspectacular season for me in NBA. I'm picking at 53.85%, which is good enough to beat the juice, but I'm not exactly raking in the dough.
I've also made a lot fewer picks this year, as compared to last.
I do wish to point out that I was a winner in NBA in 2017-18 and MLB in 2018, and am currently ahead in NBA 2018-19, so at least you can see I'm not a sportsbetting fish.
NBA kinda threw me a curveball this season because so much changed. I had a good strategy all ready, and then I saw what was going on, and it was back to the drawing board.
Anytime the market is at X and pinny has odds at X - Y I get worried. Pinny has Pats -2.5 -102 and 56.
The other handful of 7 figure bets on the Pats didn’t cause the books to flinch. One 7 figure bet at W Hill caused them to come off 3 for the rams.
I’m told the local guys up in Boston who have been 3 have found religion and moved to 2.5.
Sharp $$ on Rams and Under. That was the case last week, still the case now.
This could easily go either way.
I just remember betting on the philly moneyline last year and thinking how lucky I got to have won, the refs really helped philly.
I'm thinking this superbowl will have more interesting ref calls, I'm guessing in the Rams favor.
Belichick and Brady just never give up, if they can do to Goff what new Orleans did then I see Pat's covering 3, easily.
The defense schemes between New Orleans and the Pat's are very similar, I'm expecting the pats to apply pressure to Goff the entire game and live and die with the offense bailing them out.
I can just see Belichick stepping on the gas pedal from the start on both sides.
I just think that shutting down Goff will be easier than shutting down Brady.
I'm not saying Goff wont snap out of it and turn it on at some point, the question is, at what point? At what point in the game does Goff lose his butterflies and start gaining confidence? Either way, I'm guessing we will see a good game.

Well here they are:
Houston under 235
Atlanta under 222
I only got half of those bets down at those lines.
I bet the other half live at 240.5 for Atlanta and 226.5 for Houston
I'm only counting the original line for my record here.
San did you take Winnipeg over 5.5 first period?
6-0 after one period. Wow.
over 110 seconds on the anthem is all the way up to -260 on ACR...this is like the JT halftime song last year...
Rams money showing hard.
Washington Boston looks ripe for first period over tomorrow?
Brady scoring the first touchdown of the game is +5000 :whynot.....
Also, Michel is at +600 for scoring the first touchdown, I really think the Pat's will score the first TD...
more or less sums up what every bookmaker is saying right now.
3/ Per @CGTechnology_ Tony DiTommaso on #SuperBowl : Total at 56.5 for more than a week now. "Sharps bet it under, that seems to be the right side. We're gonna need Under, just because the market flow is Patriots and Over. Rams and Under is best scenario." @Covers
4/ Per @CGTechnology_ Tony DiTommaso on #SuperBowl : But there's actually one better scenario: "If by some stroke of luck, the game falls Patriots by 1 or 2, it would be a great offseason for us!" @Covers
So I’ve been a little bitch all week cluttering this thread with super bowl thoughts. Unless we get some
Sort of final news or some dramatic shift or unless someone has a specific question I’ll wrap it up with this final pre game post.
I find it very unlikely the Patriots won tonight. I find it even more so that they win by 3 or more. I mean I think it’s a fucking longshot at this point. Baring a last minute shift a Patriots cover would be the single biggest loss for Las Vegas on the SB ever. What else is there say?
The sharp money started on the under, and it’s still on the under. But that being said I don’t think you can ever play an under bet for game on today’s NFL and feel good about it. There are more and more points scored later in games and 4Q turns into a track meet. I think the under 281H is a way better bet than under 56.5 for game by a factor of..... I don’t know what. But it’s a better bet, I’m sure of it. Probably why 1h Under is now 27 and why the game is still kicking around 56.
Best player prop angle out there is to go long Anderson and short Gurley. I’ve though Gurley had been damaged goods for a while now. Had a friend who I respect tell me it’s a solid angle so I doubled down. Well now Ian Rapperpprt came out with a report that it will be a time share at best due to “conditioning”. I call BULLSHIT. Rams have gone out of way to proclaim Gurley “100%” the last two weeks. They bluffing big.
Okay, so here's a pick on the big game today.
Memphis at New York - Under 201
Knicks 5 straight games with fewer than 100 scored.
Memphis 4 of last 5 games with 97 or fewer scored.

Just fired like a degen on Rams -7 +270.
Don't try this at home.
Just decided to do it.
Btw has anyone posted McVay's gf?
In order to avoid cluttering the thread with in-game talk, please post live Superbowl thoughts here: https://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/sh...19-Rail-Thread
"Bettor X" placed three separate bets at MGM grand sportsbook for $2 million, at William Hill sportsbook for $1.5 million and at the South Point sportsbook for $300,000.
All bets were placed on the Los Angeles Rams moneyline at +120 odds. He'll make $4.56 million if he wins.
"Bettor X" is rumored to be under 30 years old and eastern-European looking and someone who dislikes the Patriots.
John Murray, Dir of Westgate Sportsbook said Bettor X is $3.8m
The Pinni number is interesting but maybe they took a big Rams and have big liability. Who knows? Every single Vegas is -2.5 -110.
Here’s the thing. Vegas will see $160m handle. The “Global” sports books are going to see $6b. If Pinnicle wants to take a side they have the roll.
Twin River RI sportsbook is 70 miles from Boston. They are 3 so what are you hoping for at your book?
Overtime Prop has lotta interest. Conference both had OT of course.
I still have no action. That’s where the edge is, lol. Seriously, the edge here is live
any juicy first deposit superbowl specials out there?
John Murray, Dir of Westgate Sportsbook said a punter asked if he could wager $3m. Murray said he spent 10 minutes of his day negotiating with the guy down to a 6 figure.
At the end Murray said, “if you want to cut the line, there is a $10m minimum at the other window”.
The stories are tremendous.
If you eliminate inate the 80’s bubble gum pop this is a quality pick. Too late.
Tablet - MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES at NEW YORK KNICKS Point Spread GRIZZLIES PK +120
33-28 current score. Knicks on top
I’m going to try to focus more on tanking NBA teams.
“I don’t want to score - you score”.
