I will say that Kike' is one of those guys who comes up with a lot of clutch moments, even though he goes through stretches where he's terrible.

It’s amazing how nothing goes right when you start pressing. Every hard hit ball is right at some one and it just feeds off itself. I’ve had this sick all NY World Series feeling in my gut for awhile. It’s getting worse. Mets just have that feel and Yankees will get there by default.

I used to take him out of school for things like this, but he's too old for that now. School actually matters, and every day missed is a pain in the ass to catch up.
I do miss the elementary school days where missing a little bit of school didn't matter for a smart kid.
If it looks like the Monday prices come down (which they might because a lot of people will have work), I'll try to find a friend in LA willing to put up the money for the ticket.
