Lo and behold, that's exactly what happened. The more severe COVID case the second time apparently cured the long COVID, and once he recovered after those few bad days, the long COVID was gone as well.
Long COVID is real but is poorly understood. Also, there is a certain percentage of cases which are coincidental -- where people blame long COVID when in reality they are seeing chronic problems begin for the first time, unrelated to COVID. This is especially true for people over 40, who start to experience new chronic problems which never completely go away, and this has been happening throughout all of human history.
I'm pretty sure it's well established a small percentage of people have long lasting hangover type symptoms from viral infections in the past but the problem here is, if they have taken mRNA or the other vaccines for covid. You can't separate that anymore to determine the main contributing factor. How many people who weren't vaccinated and recovered from covid (what a miracle! we almost lost them!) complain about long covid? My guess is very few. Throw in mentally ill people looking for a new way to get attention and we are left with another guessing game obviously.Quote:

this implies deeply negative overall risk/reward from covid vaccines and raises pointed questions about their continued promotion and the processes by which they were approved. there was no age group in which they were associated with overall mortality benefit.
i know this is not news many folks want to hear and it brings me no joy to report it, but this campaign of warp speed covid vaccination with unproven and untested modalities during a pandemic looks more and more like perhaps the worst public health mistake in modern or possibly human history.
