When I read about it, I wanted to be true. And there really have been a lot of Democrats in the 2020s who have walked away -- Daniel Negreanu being one of the most notable among those in poker.
But the #WalkAway movement itself seems to be a case of astroturfing, and most of the videos I've seen with the #WalkAway hashtag are either staged or engagement bait.
That Kash Patel interview was soooooo strange.
First off, as much as I'd like to believe that Trump had 50 hostages in far-flung parts of Africa rescued, I find it hard to believe. Why? Because he's a huge grandstander. I couldn't see Trump quietly meeting with these people without also making a photo-op out of it. Why would he keep this quiet? It could only help his approval rating. So this sounds like BS or partial BS.
Second, Kash is giving such bizarre answers about the Epstein Files. It's more of the usual bullshit. "There's so much, we're still going through it" type of nonsense. Everyone wants this so badly. Why the need to release it all at once? If it's so overwhelming, how about releasing it in parts -- even 10% at a time?
And let's not even talk about the embarrassing first "release" of files, which made clowns out of right wing social media figures.
Sorry, but I don't believe anything this guy says. He's always had a really untrustworthy vibe to me.
