The thing is it's not only her. Her history was never a problem before she spoke up for the truth about the election. What's their excuse for everybody else they're attacking? The governor and secretary of state of GA and various Republican officials in other states who are hard-core Republicans and Trump supporters are under attack for simply saying "We did our jobs, but Biden won, hey it happens sometimes. Let's not tear apart our whole democratic system because we lost an election." And they are being purged. It's exactly what you'd expect from a party that now has more in common with Stalin and Mao than it does with Reagan and Goldwater.
Is the Republican party simply pot committed at this point to trying to subvert democracy by perpetuating the lie that the election was stolen?
Sure seems it.
It's good fodder in deploying voter suppression, but beyond that, how long are actions going to be dictated by a failed one-term president?
Definitelynot until after the 2022 midterms.
TDS obv, but he lost badly in November at a pretty historical clip. Do they think he's going to somehow change minds if he runs again?
That’s not Trump’s objective. He wants to (1) continue the grift for donations from his loyal followers, (2) pollute the potential juror pools on the forthcoming state and federal criminal prosecutions he’s likely to face now that he doesn’t have presidential immunity.
What's the advantage of continuing to appease him versus snapping off clean? Team Retard aren't becoming democrats anytime soon. The willingness to get cucked seems really short-sighted.
