Looks like the refs got a call from above they want a tight, low scoring game, so they are reffing accordingly. They are strategically calling penalties against KC to kill drives. I guess that is something you need to anticipate and take into account, which I didn't. Live and learn.
3rd and 1 at their own 35 down 7 points at the end of the 3rd Q and KC takes a deep shot and then punts on 4th and 1. Sorry, but if you are going to punt if you don't get it then you don't go deep. And given how your defense is playing, there really is no excuse to not go for it on 4th and 1 in that spot.
I give Andy Reid an F for this game.
