LOL!!!
Hillary Clinton was leading by a few votes over Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump was leading by a few votes over Ted Cruz in Missouri with 99% reporting when they stopped counting and went home.

Druff, a related question: If "the mainstream media" is so "liberal", why did it fawn over Rubio for so long despite his weak showings in the races earlier this primary season?

This passage highlights how Rubio completely fucked up his relationship with more senior establishment GOPers.
Because the establishment GOPers believe you have to pay your dues to the more senior members, *especially* a mentor who helped your career along. Like Jeb Bush did for Rubio. That little uppity shit tried to jump the line ahead of Jeb, and the establishment GOPers closed ranks and succcessfully put him in his place!Quote:
At the outset of the 2016 campaign, Bush and Rubio both sort of said they wouldn’t run for president if the other guy did. This was never sustainable—it begged the question of who got to decide first—and when Bush jumped the gun on his former protégé by going around the country raising $100 million for his super PAC while claiming he was still making up his mind, Rubio jumped in. Bush, to put it mildly, didn’t take this well.
:boom
If only the idiot had stayed out of the race for the top spot, he would have been a darling pic for the VP slot on the GOP if any of the establishment guys got the top nom.
But now, he's toxic. And almost surely completely ruined his chances at ever getting this close to the White House, barring going on one of those tours open to the public.
:lol2
Who is ready for a Paul Ryan w/ Kasich as VP, Ticket?
The republicans are gonna give this election to Killary on a silver platter . It is truly unreal how corrupt our system is lol . Just listening to people like this Curly guy speak makes me want to throw up . The GOP would rather implode their party and gift Shillary the election over letting Trump win lol . . .

Does Bernie really have no chance? Informed and unbiased replies please.
Limbaugh dropping bombs all over the Republican party today. 2 of which I brought up a week or 2 ago:
1 - The nominee that Obama floated for Supreme Court is not the guy he actually wants, but is the sacrificial lamb to get the person he actually wants.
2 - Would Obama take a deal where he would indict Hillary in exchange for his Supreme Court pick?
3 - Republicans pushing toward a brokered convention and will install Paul Ryan and Kasich as the Ticket.

Any of you betting lines guys got anything on this?
I was just gonna post about this 4D.
Glad you guys are enjoying yourselves with the primary betting and chat.
The only good to come out of all this, Bernie & Trump, is a civics lesson and hopefully a few riots & civil unrest. If the key requirement to becoming President is your being entrenched in the deal making and quid pro quo - what am I saying? That IS the process.
Even a politically apathetic guy like me is getting engaged this year.
That voters are turning this contract on its ear... fucking love it. But first there will be war.
How in the fuck do you think Hillary got spit out of the political factory? No better candidate?

Quote:
Political parties, not voters, choose their presidential nominees, a Republican convention rules member told CNBC, a day after GOP front-runner Donald Trump rolled up more big primary victories.
Hopefully, this focuses the conversation on the political process going forward.Quote:
"The media has created the perception that the voters choose the nomination. That's the conflict here," Curly Haugland, an unbound GOP delegate from North Dakota
What a corrupt bag of shit. But that Rubio was roundly ignored gives me hope with regards to American voters and those that care.
Hillary is so vile and yet here she is. That depresses me. Little bit of hope gets snuffed out.
Boehner just endorsed Paul Ryan as GOP nom.
Ain't that a shame. Who gives a fuck about the GOP and what they want?
Lol, the 2 party system in this age of modern instant news and communication. Can't trust the voters?
I love the '68 election parallel. Lotta bombs gonna be dropped this summer.
Hillary got a lot of history that she hasn't had to address. Not talking about servers either.
Dialed up some Clinton murder conspiracy shit on YouTube before I sleep. Makes me happy.
Yup, let's just toss out the whole primary voting exercise. This is promoted by a GOP establishment type.
Just so you get a glimpse inside the hearts and minds of party establishment. Fuck the voters. They need guidance
I've already expended more energy than this corrupt process deserves.
'Murica
In fairness, the whole "primary voting exercise" got hijacked by the corporate cattle crowd.. if Trump actually ends up in office, 2020 could be the year we go to war with Mexico to reclaim the breakaway republic of Texas.
Holy shit.
Fox set up a surprise debate and Trump told them to fuck themselves.
And Fox insta-folded and cancelled the debate.
Would Obama take a deal where he would indict Hillary in exchange for his Supreme Court pick?
This is seriously up there with chem-trails, flat earth, and lizard people.
"political parties decide their nominee not the general public" well why bother holding the primary elections? Well thats a very good question.
what a fucking joke, I will go looting and rioting if they steal the election from trump, there is a korean owned dry cleaners right by the house, I will firebomb that fucking place i swear to god
Mid summer heat wave. The Indians will be 20 games out of first. The Browns will be practicing for no apparent reason.
Cleveland PD are odds on to kill some kid before the convention. Cleveland PD notoriously amongst the most poorly trained and troubled in the country. This will go well.
Hillary sweating it out under the lights in another Congressional hearing.
Bring it.
If Trump had won 4 or 5 more contests to date, and got the majority well before the last primary, the RNC would have no choice but to name him as the the nominee. But when there is not a clear winner by the rules -- and delegates *do* have the right to vote contrary to their pledges, brokered conventions naturally follow.
Rick Scott, GOP governor of Florida, endorsed Trump today. Cites need for party unity ASAP.

mumbles, shut it the fuck down. Let's take a break for a week or twenty. Your negative rep isn't because others love reading your shit.
Hate to tell you, but your Democratic party is even more rigged.
Any outsider has zero chance to win a primary (due to superdelegates) unless they win in blowout fashion, which is pretty damn tough to do.
The way it stands right now, the Dems have their primary system way more rigged than Republicans, though I will go on record saying that I don't support this brokered convention bullshit.
In fairness, the Democrats also arent religious lunatics.
Hillary jumped today to -250 today, I said back in Feb. she will be 4 or5 to one by Oct. The slight chance of a brokered convention is keeping the line down for now. Hopefully the clown doesn't screw this up, even though he's trying hard to. Trump is the best thing to happen to the Democrats sense Ross Perot. Of coarse I thought Al Gore was going to win in 2000, my only losing political bet, and I've been betting politics since 92", Clinton at +160 then pickem in 96" But I've never bet on or voted for a republican and never will. So Republicans better hope for a Kasich or Ryan coming out of Cleveland, because Trump and his brown shirts (the shirts are being made right now in China) will never Goose step down Pennsylvania Avenue.
