I’ve read the tea leaves. The most sure bet on the board is novice bettors across the nation will pour into the most liquid (re: sharp) market there is in sports wagering and have very little chance to come out ahead.
My prediction for week 2 is the 2-5 teams that come out and win impressively as Dogs will open up as much larger favorites then they should. Week 2 is my best non prop week year in year out.
What are the lines like in Mississippi?
Are they the legalized fail I expect?
Daly,
Have you given any CFB team O/U bets yet? I checked the last couple pages and didn’t see anything, so not sure.
I know a guy who went first 5 on Boston. He had to be happy with that decision after both winning and watching them melt down in the 6th and 7th. They'll probably still win, though.
I had no picks today, though.
I looked, just liked nothing.
The Oakland +155 actually isn't bad. Good team, at home, Kershaw hasn't been himself this year, Fiers has been decent.
Obv I'll be rooting against it though.
TABLET - BASEBALL - MLB - 967 BOSTON RED SOX -140 FOR GAME
TABLET - BASEBALL - MLB - 968 BOSTON RED SOX/TORONTO BLUE JAYS OVER 9½ -110 FOR GAME
Just can’t quite pull the trigger with the gun aimed at Kershaw’s head. But this is a Kershaw fade too
MOBILE - BASEBALL - MLB - 978 LOS ANGELES DODGERS/OAKLAND ATHLETICS OVER 4 +105 FOR 1ST 5 INNINGS
TABLET - BASEBALL - MLB - 978 LOS ANGELES DODGERS/OAKLAND ATHLETICS OVER 7½ -120 FOR GAME
Been an easy day.
Braves +104 and the 9 over
Keep posting Simp
Anyone have a bookmaker account?
I had an account at one time, but I haven't used it in years.
Back in the day they were the only books that would release football lines Sunday night for the next week, which was kind of fun to bet super early on lines you thought were off, although obviously I didn't make any $$ doing this.
Nice job Simp.
Treinen coming in to close it out
Lock it up.
ok finally have some sides, ATL ML, and CLE, MIL and Houston (RL and ML).
The democratization of gambling (and the death of big casinos) has long been my call.
Buffalo Wild Wings is exploring offering sports wagering. They are the biggest sports bar in America.
This is fucking brilliant.
The trend is Millenials ordering out. You keep their ass in the seat and add customers who would not have gone to a place like that ordinarily. Brilliant synergy
Partner with William Hill.
A sports book atmosphere on every corner.
I caught Braves v Nats @ +126 last night.
I couldn’t believe it. We joke about a bad line but I kept asking myself, “what am I missing ?”
Things have corrected themselves but it’s still a good spot @ +105
I did Sawks at -165 and Dodgers u10.5 last night too.
Sawks Porcello v Jays rookie Borucki. Borucki doesn’t have swing and miss stuff. Good luck against Sawks lineup. Lotta juice- should be more. I may take another bite under -155.
Hey Plop,
You ever wonder what Druff’s life would have been if he spent the summer with an Amish family as a yute?
Skip to. 1:50 and try your best to ignore Kimmel.

Hey Plop
Can I have your Facebook password so I can watch Braves on Facebook Watch or do I have to get it from Willie?
I can officially endorse Sam Darnold for OROY at 15-1 or better
Meant to pick this team matchup yesterday for an under, but was unavailable to do it, and of course it easily won.
Here it is again, where I still like it:
Arizona (Ray) at Cincinnati (Harvey) - under 8.5 +102
Yet another late inning screw job.
2-2 after 7 full innings.
1 run in top of 8th, 2 quick outs in bottom of 8th, with a man on first who was hit by a pitch to open the inning.
Then this:
Casali walked.
Barnhart doubled to deep center, Suárez and Casali scored. (4-3)
Hamilton singled to center, Barnhart scored. (5-3)
Hamilton stole second.
Peraza intentionally walked.
Votto singled to left, Hamilton scored, Peraza to second. (6-3)
Gennett grounded out to pitcher.
I lose yet another one where I'm several runs ahead going to the final innings.
Fun fact:
Last two picks needed to fade 5.5 runs and 4.5 runs in final 2 innings, and both lost. Terrible.

im putting a small bet on woodland here...liked the way he came back after his bogey-triple, however I do worry that that took a ton outta him considering if he didn't take that triple he'd be tied for the lead...scott cant putt for shit, watching yesterday was fucking painful...now he's in the final group of a major and his putting is gonna miraculously solve itself? was surprised that woodland was the dog here, that doesn't make me feel good, but this is a bet against scott's bulky putter...
I don’t have to explain how big a difference between 5.5 -120 and 6.5 +155 is. I could cover and lock in a profit now but I trust my read. This team is loaded for the level of program they are. I think you sweat this one out bigtime, but maybe it’s me who should be worried.
In the “behind the bets” pod one of the guys was super high on the BC over. He said he thinks they are good for an upset or two over the ACC heavyweights.
Washington (Milone) at St. Louis (Mikolas) - Under 8.5 +100
Jays/KC over 9
Seattle/Oakland over 8
Wash +125 (everyone and their mother on STL)
