Not only do you see him get emotional when he loses, but playing lower stakes is exactly what you DON'T want to promote, if you're selling the image of being a rich professional gambler.
The whole point of these videos should be, "This is what you need to aspire to reach", not "Here I am playing low stakes like a poor person". Most of his videos do attempt to sell the idea that Chrissy is rich and living the life his dreams (think of the meals, the siutes, the ballgames, and the lack of 9-5 job), but then we see him playing low stakes on BOL.
If the $327k were his, he'd be loading some of it onto BOL, playing higher stakes, and of course only posting the winning sessions. But he's not.
This whole thing is a huge mystery.
I did think of another reason Chrissy could be holding the money. It could be some attempt to cheat taxes on behalf of someone else. What do I mean?
Let's say you're a guy who makes $700k per year, and has a fairly high tax rate. Any money you make gambling or trading crypto is considered additional income, and is taxed at that same high rate.
Now let's say you meet Chrissy. He tricks you into believing he has +EV gambling and crypto investment schemes. At first you tell him you don't want to bother, as taxes will eat up too high a percentage of any potential gains. Then Chrissy tells you that you can quietly transfer the money over to him, sign a contract that it's really yours, and he can wash any winnings through his "8 businesses" to where he has a paper loss and nobody has to pay any taxes. Then he can quietly transfer the money back in one of various ways.
I just don't believe that Big Daddy Foster would transfer this kind of money into Chrissy's name, for reasons I already stated. Maybe Stacy's, but not Chrissy. Remember when we saw 1 BTC (then worth $47,000) received and then quickly cashed out to Chrissy's same Chase account? I doubt old man Foster messes with bitcoin. There's someone else involved here who is funding this, and Chrissy is under strict instructions not to touch the money for gambling or spending. It is very possible that the videos flaunting the cash are part of the plan, if the goal is to trick the IRS into believing it belongs to Chrissy.
Honestly with just about everything else involving Chrissy, there's a logical explanation. This one is still tough to figure out.
