LOL Truth be told Elton is not a bad looking guy/gay but
if he went for a reach around (and honestly that's a new term to me)
he would look much different.

American Sniper
was good B+
watched a really good stream.
Finally saw Gone Girl.
I thought this was chick flick movie for some reason. Confusing it with the 50 Shades movie & book, I guess.
I also thought Ben Afleck as a lead would be a fail.
It was fantastic. Every line of dialogue mattered. You could not suss out the plot twists no matter how closely you followed every detail and clue. A total mind fuck.
It could have been shot in black & white with single channel sound and still I would have watched.
What puzzled me was why the audience rating was "only" 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. The answer has to be that the negative votes came from those who spoiled by the book. The book must be amazing.
Anyone see Imitation Game yet?
The movie "Wild" with Reese Witherspoon.
Reese is naked and is in a few sex scenes.
She goes backpacking in the northwest and bangs random guys that she meets along the way.
Reminds me why I never go camping anymore.
When is a movie not a movie?
When it's a fucking commercial for casinos in Macau.

I get it. You find things like that funny. Repetition.
watched lebowski the other night, was not impressed
I watched Taxi Driver for the second time and was not sure i would like it as much as the first viewing. i didn't.
DeNiro is ok playing a psychotic, doesn't have to say much, but the ending had a lot of holes in it, no pun intended.
So we come to the point where Travis is going to take out a presidential candidate
and who knows how many others with him
as he's loaded with lethal weapons. That plan goes awry when the secret service men
see this coming towards the podium.
So he runs, gets away and decides his next stop will be the whorehouse where poor little Jody Foster fucks and sucks for Harvey Keitel. All is good, he kills a few and although he is seriously wounded in the attack, he not only lives, he's considered a hero for his actions. No picture of him in his stylish new cut, no mention of his being armed to the hilt and no investigation into his psychotic behavior prior to the heroism.
Then the kicker, Cybill Sheppard, who was courted by Travis early in film and soon rejects him,
finds her self in the back of Mr. Normal's cab, after all has settled down and is
clearly looking for hero cock. But our hero, with normal haircut back in place, brushes her off with only a sane smile.
However weak the last scene was it fits nicely with the rest of the film. Psychotics are that way for life, and killing several people doesn't just "get it out of the system" and on we go.
Just saw the box office smash ROMANTICS ANONYMOUS, a French subtitled charmer, with a little Mary Poppins, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and a hint of Road Warrior thrown in.
Don't know why i started watching it except I will be in the South of France in May.
I watched 'The Judge' the other night and although the acting was good from Downey Jr and Billy Bob Thornton the film itself was bleak and depressing.
5/10
If you guys havent seen A Most Violent Year, you're straight fucking up.
Let me say this first; it's totally mis-advertised. Like insanely so. It's a taught, gritty, dark, moody suspense piece and the commercials/advertising all scream GANGSTER CRIME THRILLER at volume 11 which is exactly what it's not. It's very well done. People are comparing it to The Godfather because they lack the imagination to see beyond a broody intense Italian lead in a cashmere coat as anything but derivative, which is simply embarrassing and super typically American. Elements of the ending feel like someone had to appease the studio a little, but that's life. A directors cut might resolve that someday.
saw American Sniper a week ago...
after seeing it i have to have a suppressor for my AR-15
I suspect that you're trolling but I agree, I think it's overrated. It's really good but imo not worthy of the cult like status it is afforded.
I did see it for the first time only a couple of years ago, long after the phase of life where all of my friends were obsessed with it. Maybe I just missed out.
Again, I liked it, just think it's overhyped.
