Not one US troop has gotten involved in the current Israeli war, nor is there talk of doing so.
The amount of aid given to Israel is a drop in the bucket compared to the federal budget.
I would understand a passing objection to the US aid to Israel, along the lines of, "I don't agree with our tax dollars being used this way. It should stop." I don't agree with it, but at least I understand it, nor would I fault anyone for saying it.
However, this doesn't explain the passion with which people like Fuentes, Owens, and others like them are harping on the Israel issue. If you honestly believe it's just a concern about our tax dollars, or belief that a foreign government influences the US, then you are naive.
