Brother says he had no political affiliation to any party. Although watching that interview it doesn't exactly sound like they were in close contact, so I doubt he knows where his head was at tbh.
I seriously doubt this guy Stephen Paddock acted alone.
Paddock had no criminal record and lived a quiet life.
Someone else planned this attack and helped buy the more than 10 automatic weapons used in this terrorist attack.
Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock enjoyed gambling, country music, lived quiet life before massacre

Gun stocks are soaring after the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history

:yes
P.S. Before you bash me over this post, as demonstrated by our majority party elected officials who champion free markets and individual rights at the expense of a more balanced political perspective, it's 100% American to figure out how to profit from tragedies, right?

Based on clues I'm gathering, I suspect he sold his house and tried to become a professional gambler with his outrage growing as he failed, his losses mounted, & his life savings shrank.
His ego couldn't handle the crushing reality of his retirement savings disappearing, and this awful shooting is the end result of his angry ego-driven despair.

Updated to 58 dead, 515 (!!) injured.
Not gonna lie, this one has me shook.
Hillary Clinton continues to remind everyone why she was the worst Presidential candidate ever:

"Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get."
lol @ silencing a full auto .50 cal.
What an attention whore
I'm going to be interested in how thoroughly Paddock's activity in Vegas and elsewhere can be tracked.
Hotel & casino surveillance cameras. Hotel room card access records. Throw in some GPS, phone & social media and you might have something out of a Jason Bourne movie.
I'll wager there are more cameras in Vegas than anywhere else on planet earth. How good are they? How far along is facial search? How good is the maintenance of these systems?
We will see
Honestly, the only 50 cal full auto is the Browning, which is usually mounted on tanks, or the nose of a Warthog.
He used one of these, chambered in 7.62x51mm, which is perfectly legal in Nevada because its older than X number of years or something.

He filed a lawsuit against the Cosmopolitan in 2012. It was dismissed.

You might be onto something here.
It is now reported that he made "several large gambling transactions in the tens of thousands" in the last few weeks. While these exact transactions were not disclosed, nor were his results, I feel there's a good chance he lost and it made him snap.
So I'm backing away from the left-wing fanatic theory from earlier, and I'm going with "Busto gambler who felt like he lost everything and wanted to take lots of others out before offing himself."
He does not have any hendonmob results, so he likely didn't play tournament poker.
He did brag at one point to have won $20,000 gambling online, but I'm now wondering if he was just a -EV casino game donk, and yet somehow imagined himself a professional gambler.
I'm hearing his mail order bride left the country and he went over the edge.
I don't believe she was a mail order bride.
She was actually still married to another (white) man, and I guess was living with this guy.
She was in the Philippines when this occurred. I haven't yet read reports that she had left him prior to this.
Also, mail order brides tend not to be 61.
Word, I was just demonstrating the logistic issues behind getting a 6' long full auto machine gun that weighs 130 lbs and fires rounds that weigh 4 ounces each into a Vegas hotel room.
And here's a video of his weapon equipped with a commercial silencer:

It was coordinated that these three ISIS terrorist attacks happen on October 1st 2017.
As for the exact help these terrorists may have received, who knows for sure.
Stephen Paddock had no history of violence and wasn't considered a "gun guy" by his relatives.
Then all of a sudden, he becomes Jason Bourne.

The NRA's new slogan...
Buy a gun before ISIS comes for you?
Fuck yeah
True . The crazy thing though is that if there was a gun show in town I could see you being able to put a 130 lb gun on the hotel bag cart , cover it, and get it up a room without blinking an eye. It would be so absurd that it probably be easier to pass through then a smaller gun
I also chuckle at politicians and other people who know nothing about weapons when they start talking about silencers and how evil they are. They clearly dont even know what a basic silencer actually accomplishes/doesn't accomplish.
100% of their knowledge comes from action movies. Really.
Im convinced a large number of those people would be severely disappointed if they suddenly went out and bought a silencer and tried to use it.
The ONLY claim that ISIS was behind this has come from ISIS themselves. And those fuckers have a huge history in claiming attacks that had absolutely nothing to do with them.
Nobody but nobody in US authority is claiming it was Islamic related terror. Quite the opposite in fact.
