I'm not going to read through all this, but somehow it doesn't compute in my mind why people need to ask a black person something - like, I don't get it. A black person is likely to respond to a question like any other person, it won't make a difference.

Maybe I'm just naive, which is likely the case.

I know what you mean. I'm all for equality and I'm colorblind too. I didn't even know Marvin was black until he told me.

You can ask me anything you want, but don't think you're asking a "representative" black person, because I was adopted by a white Jewish family and hardly knew any black kids growing up.
