I mean I very much like Jews, respect their contribution, and am a fan for the most part. But I’d rather be a Brit than move to Israel. I like them also and I don’t have to worry about getting bombed.
But lately you’ve seen disturbing interviews. Ted Cruz, this lady. Like if you’re Israel, you want Americans support, but you don’t want them to be transparent sycophants. You don’t want them to appear visibly afraid of AIPAC. Especially when her boss is already getting labeled as some Bibi puppet by his detractors on both sides.
That doesn’t further your goals for a good relationship. It comes off weird and makes people recoil a bit.
