Are you suggesting the next big story is turns out crowder is not a man?

His attempt to keep doing his show normally while pretending everything is fine just isn't working.
This is typical of his comments section:

Time to update the stats, Steven.
Also, Amy Schumer used to actually be kind of hot?
A website called "Current Revolt", based out of Texas where Crowder lives, sent one of their reporters to the first divorce hearing of the Crowders.
The "Current Revolt" reporter seems to not care for Crowder, and I was pretty sure I'd find it's a liberal website. It's not. It's actually a conservative one, so they must hate Crowder from the "loyal to Daily Wire" standpoint. That's basically why Crowder's career is fucked going forward. He's both hated by a lot of major conservative social media figures AND now considered toxic due to the video of him berating his pregnant wife.
Anyway, it's a pretty good and detailed report of the proceedings, if not somewhat biased: https://www.currentrevolt.com/p/stev...-divorce-trial
Interestingly, Crowder showed up with four lawyers, while his wife only had one. Crowder's "business lawyer" was none other than Bill Richmond.
This was really interesting, because Richmond seemed to have had some kind of falling out with Crowder in the past. If you remember, Richmond was identified on Louder With Crowder as "Half Asian Lawyer Bill Richmond", and he absolutely loved being a character on the show. In fact, Richmond appeared so regularly, including in produced skits, that I figured he didn't have time to do much legal work anymore. Richmond seemed to love entertaining a lot more than his law practice, and it was said at one point that he was given some percentage of the show, in exchange for his legal work for them.
Then.... Richmond abruptly vanished. He wasn't on the show anymore, the "lawsuits against Google" they were touting suddenly had no more mention, and Richmond removed any Crowder references from his Twitter.
About a year later, Richmond appeared on the show in a very awkward special where it was just him and Crowder, with none of the usual co-hosts and board-ops around. They weakly addressed Richmond's absence, claiming he was "busy with legal work", which was not convincing at all. Then we never saw him again, and he was rarely mentioned.
This is why I was VERY surprised to see that Richmond is an attorney in the divorce case, on Crowder's behalf. It might be that Richmond is stuck with Crowder, given that he owns a piece of the show, even if he doesn't particularly care for him anymore. Still unexpected.
Anyway... I'll discuss the article in the next post.
Regarding this hearing:
Steven really really really wanted the "courtroom sealed" so nobody could report on it. This was denied by the judge, who stated that it is in the public interest that this divorce get reported on. Hillary's lawyers did not seem to feel strongly either way regarding the courtroom being sealed. The judge stated that Steven became a public figure voluntarily, and thus does not have an exceptional right to privacy.
Steven has roughly half custody of the kids, seeing them Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and "some Saturdays". Surprisingly, he wants full custody of the children, claiming that his wife is engaging in "erratic behavior". However, his lawyers could not give any powerful examples of her "erratic behavior", only weakly stating that she knew their home address was posted on the internet for months, and did not tell Steven about it. They also claimed that the leaking of the home Ring video of them arguing was "erratic behavior" on her part. The judge was not impressed, and did not alter the custody agreement.
Steven confirmed that the number of paying Mug Club subscribers is "in the six figures". Surprisingly, it does not appear that Crowder's loss of his e-mail list -- which was left in the hands of Glenn Beck -- came up as a topic of discussion. I would think this would be a huge thing to bring up, as this might have a large impact of Crowder's income going forward. He has no way to contact these paid subscribers unless they voluntarily sign up for his new e-mail list.
Prior to the loss of the e-mail list, six figures of paid subscribers is huge. All of them were paying $69-$99 per year. That's $7m-$10m in subscriber fees per 100,000 subscribers per year, and that's not counting any other revenue from sponsors, appearances, etc.
Steven apparently lied in court that he never said he "picked wrong" in reference to marrying Hillary, in a video about his divorce. The video was then showed where he said exactly that.
Steven also lied in court where he said he didn't post a picture of his kids online. He did post a picture of him with his twins right after birth, and in fact I have it saved on my phone, as I sent it to someone else who I knew was a former Crowder fan. I guess it's possible he doesn't remember doing it.
Hillary said that Steven sometimes "punches holes in walls" at the home and has rage issues. She did NOT allege that he ever hit her, so presumably no physical abuse allegations (on either side) will be part of this.
Hillary said that both of Steven's parents are on his company's payroll. This was already apparent to anyone paying attention to the show. Steven's father both appears as sometimes-co-host and arranges booking guests, and Steven has stated in the past that his mother makes a lot of the costumes on the show. There is nothing wrong with Steven employing his parents, as family businesses are very common in the US. Not sure why this was brought up in court.
Hillary talked about an incident where two people wearing COVID masks rang the doorbell at their home and left a CVS bag filled with women’s stockings and feminine goods along with a note saying "Steven I’m a very big fan." I'm nor sure what the context was here. Presumably this was some form of harassment of Steven, given his prior skits where he would sometimes wear women's clothes. But how is this his fault? Perhaps she was trying to indicate that Steven had deranged fans, and that their kids weren't safe with him?
Steven's lawyers attempted to claim that the courtroom needed to be sealed "for the safety of the children". Hillary's lawyer countered that the worst thing to happen regarding harassment was a "sweet potato being mailed to the home". (What?!?!) I would think the weird visit with the women's stockings in a bag would be more creepy than a sweet potato in the mail.
There seems to be some debate as to whether Steven was present during the birth of his twin children. Hillary says he was not there, and was getting "voluntary surgery" to fix the way his chest looked. Steven countered that he was there, and in fact is on video in the hospital. He also countered that the surgery was medically necessary, and in fact the surgery was covered by insurance. I think the truth is probably in the middle. He probably did miss the actual birth of the children, but showed up shortly after, when his wife was still in the hospital. He probably scheduled the surgery at a stupid time when it was possible/likely his kids would be born, and likely could have delayed it. I am guessing the surgery, which was a follow-up from a medically-related surgery in his chest, really was cosmetic, but was covered because the problem was induced by the prior medically necessary surgery.
In short, if this is all of the good stuff from the hearing, it's not going to be very exciting going forward.
Someone -- possibly Crowder's ex -- recorded what appears to be some kind of counseling session with a "Dr. Walker". It features both Crowder and his now-ex talking with the counselor about the incident we saw on the Ring cam.
This might be a marriage counseling session after that fight caught on the Ring camera, but before they separated. What's weird is that, near the end of this recording, the counselor asks his wife, "Would you agree what he has gone through for the past 3 months is a little bit of an overreaction?", to which Hillary says yes. That would almost seem to imply that the "overreaction" and "what he has gone through" would be the public backlash over the video's release, but there's no reference to the video's release here, so probably not. I'm guessing the "3 months" was probably something Hillary changed about the marriage, perhaps abruptly moving out.
It is not clear how this leaked, or who leaked it. It was posted by a mostly insufferable woman on social media named H. Pearl Davis. This Davis chick operates on a bizarre theme -- basically a woman who hates other women and believes women are inferior to men. Seriously, that's the theme of her entire social media presence. She's mostly conservative, but also rips on marriage and conservative "tradwifes" (traditional wives). Her view is that women are so awful that men should not get into any commitment with them. I think a lot of this is an act to draw eyeballs and get clicks.
Anyway, recently Davis is on a huge kick to exonerate Crowder, and has been tweeting multiple times a day in his defense, while pretending to be neutral. It doesn't appear this is coordinated with Crowder, but rather is just an attempt to use this (now mostly backgrounded) controversy to get noticed herself.
It's not clear how Davis got the audio. She claims someone sent it to her. Click on the second video (the one on the right, with the white background) to hear it. From what I can tell, it isn't anywhere else on the web.

Oh, and the most interesting thing about this new audio is the fact that Crowder DOES admit he threatened, "I will fuck you up" when he went inside the house with his wife, right after that argument on the Ring camera.
This has been long stated to have occurred, but not verified until now.
Crowder admits saying it, but claims he immediately qualified it with, "Okay, sorry, that went too far", right after saying it. His wife then admitted he really took it back right after saying it. She also conceded that he was all the way across the house, and not in her face when he said it.
This leaked audio, if it catches on anywhere besides Pearl Davis' page, will not make Crowder look good. The bottom line is that he admits that he told his wife he will fuck her up, and even if he took it back immediately, that won't sit well.
