I’d like to share some stupidity wagering and props from the Cubs v Cardinals yesterday
Had some luck the day before taking the Cubs to win from behind live. Jon Lester was pitching Friday and this was going to be interesting.
Lester has awful FIP numbers. Cubs defense is so good they have been masking his fraudulently good looking ERA. Lester was a ticking time bomb. The truth was gonna be revealed.
So the Cubs blow up & it’s roughly 16-4 and this thing is a laugher. The Cubs start putting in position players to pitch. My fucking hands are shaking cause this game has live player props.

When you go in as a position player to pitch it is understood that you don’t fuck around. Put it over the plate.

Wait, they are trotting the 2nd position player out in the top of the 9th. This was the first time since like 1907 two position players pitched and there are live player props.

I don’t know what to tell you bigdick. Not hatin on Lester or the Cubs. Lester is a warrior and a winner. He has multiple rings if you have any doubt. Think of guys like Kershaw & Price and just pay respect to Lester.
However, his velocity is falling and his pitch mix doesn’t fly. I don’t know that the Cubs or Lester can fix this in time for the playoffs or if playoffs are even a question.
