1) It isn't affecting many kids overall

2) If you jump on it at the beginning, your kid will get treated and recover quickly

3) Most importantly, the flu remains a MUCH greater danger to children than COVID-19!


So if you weren't panicking about the flu regarding your kid in 2019, you shouldn't be panicking about COVID regarding your kid in 2020.

Guys like me have a legit reason to worry about COVID and not to worry about the flu. For kids, it's the opposite.

A voice has rung in my head ever since this virus started. My Mother who lived through the depression in horrible circumstances said to me when I was young, you have it good, don’t forget that, but hard times will come again. She prepared me well growing up.

I had a conversation with my daughter today. I told her of the what my Mother told me back then, and what I tell her today she needs to pocket away for when she is my age.

What to fear in the future is risk to freedom. There are many instances of this loss by scare tactics and misinformation twisted by the government and media. We are seeing that now as a tester to something bigger in the future.

I can't find the Ak Chin report so I will report what I saw:

I have been there twice so far. I went opening night at about 11pm figuring it would be a bit empty. Was wrong. Entire front parking lot full, had to park in back garage. Was still able to find the machines I wanted to play. Mask ratio about 50-50. Lots of hand sanitizer stations.

I went back Sunday afternoon to get the points bonus and it was close to the same amount of people. Mask ratio was about 90-10 this time. 90 being no mask. Same sanitizer stations but 2 I tried to use were empty.

Will def be an interesting case study in a few weeks of exactly where this thing is. From what I understand, Wild Horse Pass has been just as crowded. I am not sure if mask is required there. Doubt it.

What are these underlying issues that makes you so susceptible? Being a little overweight and in your 40s with anxiety is not proven to be anything related to Covid-19, or any other virus. I am just curious why you think you are in some high risk category that has yet to be identified.
