We do, so this is what puts me in such an odd position with this huge story.
I can't just pretend it doesn't exist. I have intentionally steered clear of other more minor Seals-related topics in the past, but this is huge and I can't just act like it's not happening.
Also, in summer 2014, I got multiple reports that Micon was talking shit behind my back to various people at the WSOP. Like, he wasn't going around trying to bring my name up, but if someone said anything about me (usually not realizing we weren't friends anymore), they got an earful of nasty stuff.
In response, I made an Alvin Finklestein post in August which essentially said that Seals was illegal and the owner would eventually get busted. Micon immediately made an angry phone call to me, demanding I take it down. I told him that I did it in response to his unprovoked June/July shit talk about me. After a very contentious phone call, I agreed to take down the Finklestein post, and he re-agreed to stop talking shit about me.
Anyway point being that I don't feel like I'm doing something awful by commenting on this very large and public story, and I think I've been very fair with my assessments and commentary. I'm not going to talk shit about Micon, but I will give my thoughts on the Seals situation itself, especially because this site always comments on matters like these, and it would be irresponsible for me to ignore it.
