Are you trying to suggest he profited that? The below quote and article references it. I have read articles meant to be a scathing rebuke of him using his own money to promote philanthropy, but after reading, I always find it almost perfectly logical.
As rich as he is, he can’t finance all these issues on his own. Either way, that tweet is disingenuous at best. It makes it sound like he’s saying he’s made a 2000% personal profit. I don’t know that to be the case and have seen zero evidence of anything he’s ever done that personally benefited him beyond goodwill.
He’s given away billions in a way he deems logical. Sometimes he uses private companies to promote others to give to the work they’re doing, but it’s his money. He spends it to encourage others. I’ve just legit never seen a criticism that rings sinister. I’m more than open to it. Not like I care to defend some billionaire. It’s just things meant to be scathing make me end up thinking he’s smart after I read them.
