Trump can appear on shows like this and come off as self-effacing and likable. Harris comes off as awkward, phony, and unfunny.
See the horrible skit with Molly Shannon sent in to the Al Smith dinner for an example.
This can only hurt her, no matter how much the writers attempt to prop her up.
Look at this from 2005. Yes, it's old, and yes Trump looks ridiculous and can't sing, but the whole thing is charming, including the little hug with Karen Walker at the end. This was broadcast during his Apprentice days. That's what makes Trump so appealing to average folks. Even in 2005, despite doing a show about being a successful billionaire "firing" contestants attempting to "work" for him, he was still willing to get in overalls and sing "Green Acres".
Kamala could not pull something like this off if her life depended upon it. She is devoid of humor and personality.

The SNL appearance was a win for Kamala although it was probably against FCC regulations. They made her come across as well as they could have. She will obviously have a horrible tenure if she wins the election - especially if Republicans win the House. The Fed has been artificially lowering interest rates to make Biden/Harris look better during an election year but it will be soon time to face the music. Whether Trump or Harris wins the country could be headed for a mini recession.
I am starting to really like JD and it would be a shame for him to become damaged goods if they were to lose. But it does setup nicely for my guy Vivek if he can find a way to stay relevant for another four years. Although, a Trump loss could get him to go back to the private sector.
