If teachers don't like it, then we need better teachers and frankly, we need to teach the parents.... the major issue teachers have is that they don't want to deal with the shitty parents complaining they don't understand it and can't help their child with homework.
That needs to be sorted out, because Common Core is what makes the most logical sense according to every other country that ranks better than us at math.
