Just about every state is going to re-open, there will be a few deep blue counties in this country that will stay closed indefinitely. 1) Extra tests early on wouldn't have helped all that much.

2) We didn't end up having a shortage of ventilators and hospital beds. Once production of those ramped up, we got ahead of the spread of the virus and nobody was ever without a hospital bed or ventilator when they needed one.


In February and March, people on the left were yelling "OMG Trump where are the tests and ventilators", which at the time did sound like a reasonable concern, but ended up not mattering.

You should have done 100,000 tests to the end of February, instead you did less then 500.
For over a month your president did virtually nothing.... except making up fanciful bullshit. (and he certainly spouted a ton of bullshit)

You could have caught hundreds if not thousands of infected people early, and right now be reporting less then 10% of your peak infections, your deaths would conservatively be less then half the current figure.
Instead it's almost impossible to tell if you've even peaked or not.
