The most recent poll listed on RCP is an IBD/TIPP poll that has Biden +4. This probably means that Biden will be piling up massive useless pluralities in California, New York, and Illinois but tells us nothing about what will happen in the decaying rust belt states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. Biden +3 or 4 seems to be about the point where Biden might squeak by in Michigan and Pennsylvania or Trump might grab Ohio and Pennsylvania. Clinton wound up +2.1

Remember, in March - when Faucci was discouraging people from wearing masks - he was very clear that he was concerned about the mask shortage for healthcare workers and didn't want people to make it worse by stocking up on them for personal use.
There is no logical way to conclude that 3 months later, when he gave the same explanation for what he said back in March, that he was admitting that he had lied. His reasons have remained consistent, it's the information they've learned about the virus that has changed.
You could be right about every thing else you said about Faucci and it wouldn't change the fact that he was open about why he didn't want people to buy masks from the beginning.
