Not too surprising although 12 in a row is a lot, when I was betting over unders pretty heavily back in 2007-2008 I noticed a lot of the games you would expect to be shootouts turned into snoozefests and I think that was when the clock was stopping on every first down I believe and not restarting. Anyhow the tulsas , floridas, texas and oklahomas of the world who were scoring at will on everyone then and most all other higher scoring teams slowed down big in the bowls.
