I had the Indians yesterday. Like -200. Thing blew up quick and I wasn't tempted in the least. Shit happens and you hope to know the difference.

There WAS value totals-wise in knowing the Indians would trot out some bum with a double digit ERA to eat up innings in a laugher. Woulda worked out but you gotta have a life. I decided I don't need to bet everything that happens and just walked away.

An unfortunate last name. Just coincidence. Surprised by the publishing date. Seems like a decade ago I saw this.

It's such a wierd thing with me. I love gambling topics written in first person by women. I don't have a god damned clue as to the female mind so maybe some insight is the attraction. Maybe they are better at describing interpersonal relationships.

An example that is now so dated would be Vicky Coren, "For Richer, For Poorer"

Anyway, gonna read this book.

Regarding live wagering, I was always wondering if you could sit there with your finger on the bet button (with an amount already pre-entered) and then hit it as soon as you see a clear HR leaving the bat.

I remember thinking that when I saw Matt Kemp hit a 3-run HR against the Dodgers at the one game I went to this year.

I've been getting clobbered on O/U recently. This makes me feel like I'm just not in touch with them, so I'm taking a break with those for awhile unless I see something I really love.

BTW, would've bet the Mets if I saw it on time. I was actually going to post it (believing it started at 5pm) and then noticed the game was in the bottom of the 1st 0-0.

Too bad. I really liked that one, and it won easily.

Won the Milwaukee pick.

Should have been 2-0 instead of 1-0, but I didn't see the time properly for the Mets game, so I didn't get that one off. Oh well. Can't count it.

Anyway, I'm 5-7 since my epic run.

Interestingly, I haven't really lost a step with the sides. I'm 5-2 in sides, including 2-0 with dogs over +120, putting me at 11-1 with such dogs since July 5. However, I'm a brutal 0-5 in over/unders since "the run", so that's why I'm backing off of them for awhile.

It's quiet but the whole Zeke beat his girlfriend story isn't dying off.

Combine that with the fact that the NFL has a huge QB bias ESP in cities with new franchises and seats to sell.

You probably can. I got a quick bet in on Matt Kuchar in golf tournament at very long odds right after he had eagled a hole to pull within 3. Forget the exact numbers but I got it in at like 90 to 1, and 10 seconds later he was 45 to 1

Not liking my bet right now.

Texas down 3-2 in the 7th, and their bats have died since the 2nd inning.

Baltimore also has a tough bullpen, so it will be hard to push one over in the 8th or 9th.

JD Martinez played for the first time in a few months after being on the DL coming in to pinch hit in the 8th inning and...

Sadly they didn't lower those limits, only my prop limits (which went down to $25).

I'm hoping to win the last one, but it's down 1-0 in the 3rd.
