You have to like really hard gangsta rap to like this but for anyone who does this song goes hard:

I realize this question may be retarded but still. To the true music lovers, you know who you are, regarding the song, InTheForTheKill, by Shamir, does it get your attention? And to make this seem important I'll ask, for, against or neutral, would you put a dollar on the artist known as Shamir, that's his first name.....taking the spot of one Mike Jackson?
So I had a listen. You've posted some quality stuff that I was unexposed to, but this girl is barely singing, more like talking and she is reverbed to the gills. Music and mix was flat to me. Not uplifting, which I think is what she was going for, the emotion didn't carry over. A different Producer, I think, could maybe give this wings, but as it stands, she's not doing any 40 city tours with this particular work.
Not just sayin but any song off of Ratchet is gold.
Does your opinion change?

Not responding to your opinion but how you may have arrived at it.
How he moved is somewhat beside the point from any perspective. This wasn't a dance competition so no footage of said artist dancing. If you don't know of him I doubt you know of his stage presence. Neither do I, but aside from that, I've never gone to any concert expecting dancing.
Re: earlier post suggesting over production. I've heard the dude live, on air if you will, and he's got the pipes without a doubt. Relying on or using the technologies of today are different. You may be right production wise but what comes out of the speaker is the bottom line.
Hey man. I knew you'd have to respond.
And I get it that results may vary.
For whatever reason I got hooked on this artist and I wondered how much of this music is appreciated re: times played vs subjective thoughts. Like a stupid commercial we unwaringly start humming to, does repetion have a bigger role than we imagine

Just kind of beside myself here. Never really thought much about Live Aid 1985, but it seems that it may be the second best concert that humanity has ever created. The first being The Wall Berlin by Pink Floyd. They may even be interchangeable.
I just don't get how Bowie even dies? Itls like he should have been immortal. But maybe, just maybe he is. Just look at him; in all his glory, the pompadour, the immaculate suit of clothes and the unending love of the masses. Perhaps that's it then, the secret of immortality. Write about things worth reading about, or do things worth writing about... or videotaping.

This is evidence how something offered as a gift may not mean as much as something you wanted and worked for. This album must be a year old and it never made it on my rotation until recently. Not bad for a band that has to follow themselves. Sleeps like a Baby Tonight, another worth the listen

Grab a beer, light up a fatty, and give yourself 20 minutes for this one. Goosebumps every damn time.
